Why? was this prediction based on demographics changes within Ajax community or just the participation rates falling within minor hockey?
Not enough white kids in Ajax/Pickering anymore? What happened? Back in the early 2000s it was all white kids

So many organizations do a great job of preserving kids, teams, championships, builders and this seems not to exist with APR. AMHA is a big reason APR has a foundation to build upon.
Of course there's no "legacy" of the AMHA within these arenas. You generally don't celebrate failure and you don't want to remind people of terrible experiences. It's kind of like when a fat woman loses a lot of weight - do you think she leaves picture of herself when she was fat up all over the house? Of course not.

All I have to say is "parents dont pick coaches not now not ever", was written on the back of the AMHA tomb stone.
Lmao isn't that pretty much exactly what happened with the 2013 APR team? Parents didn't like the coach, held out, they fired him and named the guy they wanted.
soon all failing AAA coaches that arrived from the legacy AAA organization will be replaced by a higher end group. The old Raiders AAA org could never attract quality coaches due to the massive failure of that board.

Ok, love the armchair quarterbacks. In the East end of GTA, name me the organization with a first class board.

Exactly, AMHA was very well run .. really just a case of demographics/COVID getting the best of them.

Its likely because all the white kids moved to Whitby and further east/north.

There is a reason why Whitby, Clarington area has the best hockey players right now. Its rich white families.

KLEVR has like 4 or 5 teams in the area, other random leagues have a couple teams as well.

Ajax/Pickering has the "others"

Anyone from ajax and part of the new org now realizes how diffunctional the amha really was. We had 11 rep teams in the last year. PHA had 18. Good on the amha to realize they were dead in a year. PHa would if ate them up and would of had 0 board seats. I must say I have never seen people happier, all the old amha grumbling is non existent.

Are people finding enough Ajax representation on the APR/PHA Board?
