thanks Lucas Miller for the self endorsement.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Feb 20, 2024 1:42 pmYou obviously have not been to one of his camps. Lucas has played OHL and Pro in Europe. He demands focus and will provide the attention to each member of his camp. If you want your kid to get to the next level in hockey, check out his camp(s) .. US and Canada.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Feb 20, 2024 12:18 pm Lol Lucas Miller. If you need conditioning and want to be yelled at for an hour, it's great. There's no correction whatsoever
BEST COACH FOR DEVELOPMENT

Re: BEST COACH FOR DEVELOPMENT
I'm curious what your definition of ramping up is when your child is already AAA and u13. I'm sure he has done a lot up until this point. If not, congrats, you've got one with a lot of natural talent.
I this country, you ramp it up at age 5 normally, because at age 4 you only did 4 times a week!
To answer your question. I think your son would enjoy RHA (Russian Hockey Academy). Those guys know what they are doing and they do take a kinship to the kids that go regularly and will correct.
Lucas Miller. For sure not for everyone and certainly tough on a regular basis from the point of variety. As the other response, helps conditioning. Basically a bag skate with lots of shots, so it doesn't hurt if you don't mind that type of training.
But my advice is since you are going into hitting is get strong away from the rink. Find a dryland coach for the summer. Also, RHA has contact training too. Do some of that.

It's spelled, hookey, you donut!Guest wrote: ↑Tue Feb 20, 2024 12:49 pmGuest wrote: ↑Tue Feb 20, 2024 11:57 am I am planning on ramping up the training for my kids this summer. they are both AAA players under u13. Who is a good coach that goes in to details of what they are doing wrong? Most of the skates we have been to the coach just blows a whistle and does not correct them.
thanks
Once again... never come on this site to get advice... you will get eaten alive by parents who can't even spell hockey.
Re: BEST COACH FOR DEVELOPMENT

Re: BEST COACH FOR DEVELOPMENT
You need to shell out for private sessions. You're not going to get corrections if the ratio of coach to kids is high.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Feb 20, 2024 11:57 am I am planning on ramping up the training for my kids this summer. they are both AAA players under u13. Re: BEST COACH FOR DEVELOPMENT
The best instructors do 0 advertising of their skates. Just talk to the top players parents and see who they train with. I have by far the best coach, but I will not give his name he wants no one else calling him...
Re: BEST COACH FOR DEVELOPMENT
What’s the best development program for 9-10 year olds? Toronto Elite , Bulldogs?
Re: BEST COACH FOR DEVELOPMENT
Sorry correct spelling Jinman, although i believe he is a wine drinker! Seriously, better to shell out the bucks for him in a small group so your kid will get corrected.
Re: BEST COACH FOR DEVELOPMENT
I agree if your child is a F find a good F coach, same for D. Ask around for best guys.
Gong into U14-U16 everything is game awareness and developing better IQ, not pylon $hit!
