You obviously have not been to one of his camps. Lucas has played OHL and Pro in Europe. He demands focus and will provide the attention to each member of his camp. If you want your kid to get to the next level in hockey, check out his camp(s) .. US and Canada.

I this country, you ramp it up at age 5 normally, because at age 4 you only did 4 times a week!

To answer your question. I think your son would enjoy RHA (Russian Hockey Academy). Those guys know what they are doing and they do take a kinship to the kids that go regularly and will correct.

Lucas Miller. For sure not for everyone and certainly tough on a regular basis from the point of variety. As the other response, helps conditioning. Basically a bag skate with lots of shots, so it doesn't hurt if you don't mind that type of training.

But my advice is since you are going into hitting is get strong away from the rink. Find a dryland coach for the summer. Also, RHA has contact training too. Do some of that.

Lee Jinmun coach of the U12 JRC team is near the top but only for AAA or high caliber AA player.
