yes it does sounds like a coach who got his feelings hurt. Maybe one of the losers who’s daddy tells him that he’s a good coach so it must be true!
Likely the PH coach who coaches the TRW...big loser overall
Heartbreak 💔 you guys still angry  you guys lost lots of money and the real champions are PH and The Hotdogs organizations  but the experience was priceless
Poor babies!! Now let’s see how long it takes to move to AA/A hockey

If you mean the coaches then probably not long! They embarrassed themselves on the big stage and everyone knows it.
And the fact that loser coaches TRW says it all about his coaching “ability”
players  who cares about the coaches they made money why would you have kids like the twins who are very bad skating players plus AC JP who can’t skate backwards !! bulldogs are no better even worse.
Well it still hurts   years of emotional damage to come

If so I guess it shows the depth in Ontario..
No what that means and re-enforces again is that the 2 teams we sent weren't the best?!?!
The best 'paying' kids went!

Still jealous your kid wasn’t good enough?
No, more than half of the Montreal Brick team was missing, including BOTH goalies. Hockey Etcetera subbed in a D3 goalie (the one that got cut after the first tournament) along with about 7 players that are not even close to D1 players. That was FAR from the 2023 Brick team.

Has no one at all addressed this yet? (I guess it's only Ontario people here. lol)

The Hockey Etcetera team that Nick Orlando put together in Montreal was missing more than half of the 2023 Montreal Brick Team, including BOTH goaltenders. Even with half a team of D2 and D3 players, The Quebec team still beat the Ontario team (with mostly Brick players). The second game saw a 6th string D3 goalie sub into a 6-2 game and give it away...in a shootout mind you. This is nothing to brag about! lol

The team of Ontario all-stars selected from both PH and BD lost to a team with more than half D2 and D3 players and a 6th string goalie in the first game, and had to go to penalty shots to beat same 6th string goaltender.

In Edmonton, the BD game vs Montreal was close and hard fought, and if it had gone another 10-15min I think BD had the momentum and could have won. The PH game however, was complete and utter domination! Pro Hockey never really touched the puck.

I thought that all of the self pity losers had finished whining about the Brick and that Montreal team already?
You’re obviously still crushed that your kid wasn’t chosen for any of these teams but talking nonsense and making up fake scenarios on here doesn’t change that.
These were the best players Ontario had and they kicked Quebec’s ass. Deal with it and get your son ready for his season in aa.

I wasn’t there but I doubt Quebec goalies meant much. North Bay kid got lit up by BD and PH all spring and only benefitted from getting less than 10 shots a game at Brick. So pathetic that people are so jealous they sh!t on kids from their own province just because they won. You’re just sad how your life turned out.

They said that about Gretzky, couldn’t catch him and he rarely got hit. I’m sure Crosby and Bedard heard the same thing at 10. My son is a 2015 that probably won’t be playing in this tournament in 2 years and that is fine. I won’t be on here trashing the kids that did, lol! However, it is garbage that PH and TB have a monopoly for the Brick. I read this thread to see what they were saying about a local kid we know on PH. He dominates AAA in the OMHA and did pretty well in the tournament. Middle of the pack though so nobody talking about him.Crazy talent level in the tournament but it would have been great to see them win and maybe better coaching is the answer.
coaching is horrific on both toronto brick teams. just ask parents from the last 2 years, they all complain about the coaching. they hand select the team, they teach them nothing and then blame the kids and parents when they lose. they take zero responsibility. oh and if your kid is actually good and has played a tournament with their org over the years, they take credit and say they were the ones who developed your him and think they own the rights to your kid. give your heads a shake!
I love it.... "Just ask the parents" both parent groups on either team win the award for the craziest parent groups in Ontario... just read the thread from the tournament this year.... since when should ever a parent have a say in how the coach wants to coach  ... we all know this is the problem with minor hockey.... I would take an average player who comes from a average family over the kid who thinks he is the next Connor Bedard
Bedard... Crosby... Gretz.... are all generational talent..... that's not your kid
It actually makes perfect sense. No one has mentioned that the Quebec Team at the "Border Wars" had a D3 terrible goalie and literally half of the team were much lower level players. at least 7 players from the Quebec Brick Team were not there. Even with a significantly weaker lineup, and a D3 goalie (he literally just stood there and watched pucks go in)...Team Quebec won the first game and tied the second. When Iammarone left the net half way through the second game it was 6-2. I guess a lot of people from Quebec don't post/read here.

When other teams coaches at the Brick are telling parents from both Toronto teams what a terrible job their coaches are doing, it says a lot. When Quebec coaches guide a lot of these same kids to victory over the best players from Quebec just 2 weeks later, it says even more. PH and TBD coaches had all the talent they needed and didn’t know what to do with it, can only imagine what a disaster it would be if they had average players like you said
Maybe that “average player” type will listen to their coach vs some of the selected kids who listen to too much of the parental instruction. Eg don’t pass, always shoot, keep it, skate with it.

Makes no sense because the same kids were guided to victory by French coaches they didn’t even know just two weeks later. That’s the ultimate mic drop.
PH and TBD coaching staffs pissed away these kids chances at competing for a brick championship with their total incompetence. You are clearly a butt hurt brick coach who’s embarrassed that those kids went to Quebec and beat them and proved you didn’t know what to do with a talented roster. I heard that even the Quebec coaches were making fun of you idiots at the Ontario v Quebec game and how you were a joke at brick. Time to get a real job jackass.

hmmm...my kid was on the Montreal Brick team, and both games vs TBD and PH were good games, as usual.

...but a loss and a shootout win against single letter players (while half of the Brick Team was at home)...for "the best of Ontario" mentioned as "kicked their ass"...basically sums up Toronto hockey. Good luck people, I think you're going to need it.

Quebecs top two players were still there....

A very true statement. KF, LT, JL, SD were there for QUE, 4 of the top kids. MA and MM were absent for ONT as well (I was told this was "political" by some T.O. people). Anyway, the weekend was supposed to be a fun, non-serious event.
