Is that a polite way of saying your own kid can’t keep up? Pylons aren’t very good when contact starts either.

It’s always funny to hear dads talk about their big kid will be so good when hitting starts. News flash…if he can’t skate, he can’t play hockey. He’ll have 2 suspensions and 2 penalties every game in the first half of his first contact season and his 15 minutes of game will be over. Welcome to single A.

How often does a Brick spot open up? Kid decides to do summer camp, other sports in the way, family trip? Just trying to manage real opportunity to get my kid on a Brick team.

Teams should be set within the next 6-8 weeks I think, before spring tournaments start. If you’re not on a team by then, stick with the summer coding camp.

Stop trying to find back door ways on to a team. If he isn't being pursued by the staff of a team, he'd be nothing more than a filler anyway and you dont wanna make that trip to watch your kid not get any meaningful minutes. Spend the money and time on training to improve

You can always tryout for another team IE Detroit, Boston, PE, etc. Each team is allowed to pick up a few imports. You will need a formal release letter from BD and PH.

It will be all rumour and gossip until full rosters are announced

The majority of the U20 jr team is from out west. I think only 3 are from Ontario. Maybe just maybe the better talent is not from Ontario?

Over those 4 years Ontario represented on average 36%, B.C. 9%, Alb 18%, Sask 6%, Man 5%, Que 13%.
Nearly 50% of the team on average is made up of Ontario and Quebec players.
To the kids trying out for the Brick teams, good luck. To the kids that make it, congrats and good luck. Don't let idiots on a website deminish your accomplishments.
