Having been there with the 2012’s last year I can tell you it really is a very different game in Edmonton than it is in the spring tournaments, it’s not even close.
You sound bitter and jealous. Going by your logic why do any astronauts bother to actually travel to outer space when they can pay $40 to feel what zero gravity is like at one of those iFly places here on earth, right?
We had a great time last year and it’s an amazing experience. Wishing everyone who goes this year the best.

Florida panthers lost the majority of their regular season games to Boston and Toronto. I guess they should’ve canceled the playoffs this year.

What makes it different? Is it better than outer space?
I’ve never been to outer space so I can’t make the comparison but watching these kids play in a jammed pack WEM with and against the top 10 year old kids from around North America is pretty special. Unfortunately only those who get to go will truly appreciate the significance and prestige of this once in a lifetime tournament.
