How can you have such a strong opinion when it's clear you've never been? You have an opinion about something you haven't experienced. Whatever helps you justify local tournaments. It's not about Kool aid, I actually know what I'm talking about based on experience. Is $200 a great deal for a solid tournament? Yes absolutely. Is the extra money worth going to the brick? Debatable. What's not debatable is comparing these two tournaments.

The level of play is very high and every kid is giving it their all. This is not the case at tournaments like kings of spring etc. I've been to them both. You can continue to argue something you know nothing about or try shutting your yap and learning something from others who have been there.
I promise you I’ve achieved 100 times anyone in your family has in sports. I know a thing or two. I’ll leave it at that.
That's awesome. Really. Still doesn't explain how you came to a conclusion about something you haven't experienced. Again, my comment is in reply to yours stating that other spring tournaments are just as good as the brick. You could be Connor McDavid, doesn't make your argument carry anymore weight. I'm not saying it's a must, not saying it's worth it. Simply saying they are not comparable. If you haven't been with a child, you don't know. Ok there Mr. McDavid?
You think King of the Rings a year or two up is lower level hockey than Brick 2015?
McDavid has a point here.
King of the rings is a run of the mill tournament. It’s not even close to the brick. I haven’t been to brick, but I have been to king of the rings and if it’s even close I should book my ticket to Edmonton now, my whole team should because we won last year!
Yeah my kid would destroy the top 2014s. Not even close. 2014s play baby hockey. 2015s play mens hockey.

You should setup the best 15s vs 14s and show the 14s just how weak the age group is. We will all wait....
