Would you really notice?? Come would you?

They want to stay at home so that they can save money, and they do it in these ways:

-no commute-but screw over public transit making it an unaffordable service for a city to provide-screw the poor and needy!
-no need for clothes, hair cuts, etc.-screw over small businesses who provided these services. We all see these bums walking around
-no need for day care-not really working as they're too busy taking care of their kids. I'ver literally listened to people doing this COMPLAIN about how hard they have it!!! OMG freaking god! Screwing the system by not really working. I had to train someone at my office, who then repeatedly has to call me-at the office-for questions about work, but all I hear is hear are her kids screaming in the background! She had the nerve to say she has a hard time separating work from home! That's because she "so called" works, from HOME!
-then the other stuff like clean their house, run errands, make dinner, cut their grass, do laundry etc. -not really working!

Hey expand the job pool "internationally" for these bums and see how fast their value plummets!! Heck they'll still demand for more those entitled brats!

Yes. Tax/benefit returns would be delayed. Passport applications delayed/stalled, etc. These workers provide a service to Canadians.

My mother took her passport application in to be processed in person 4 month ago and these idiots haven't sent it to her yet. Trust me, people who really appreciate the jobs would be much better at it then these buffoons.
Trust you? Ok. You've got all the answers. Glad you thought it all out!

Sure bud, the passport problem just started with the strike. How stupid and simple can you be?
How do you think no workers processing passports will help with the already existing problem that started before the strike? How stupid & simple can you be?

You're beyond simple, they couldn't handle passports before the strike because they were useless working from home. This is rhe perfect opportunity to clean house. When people are lazy, entitled, lack supervision, actively work to avoid supervision, do less work, complain, are over paid, have a false sense of entitlement, do not produce and lack accountability, you FIRE them.

Long before they should have had ANY right to strike, come to work, do the job you are being paid to, do it well, be accountable and then perhaps you have some leverage to strike.

At this point rhey have LITERALLY NOTHING to use as leverage. They are lucky to have jobs.

Wow, you've got all the answers. Now that you've made everyone on MHT think like you, what now? You going to take your little counter-protest on the road?

It's amazing the simple people merely get emotional and fail to refute claims being made. It speaks to ability, entitlement and value to their community.

Prove you wrong on what? You live to argue useless things unrelated to hockey on MHT don't you?

You said they should all quit. So, 336k members of the largest union in Canada should quit and do what? Who will do their jobs? Well, you said "Would you really notice?? Come would you?" Sounds like you're the simple one but go on keep trolling. You must be a hoot in real life. Do you talk like this to your co-workers working from home who you openly disdain on MHT?

Stay on point, we were talking about passports. Who cares what they do, they clearly don't care about their community and the negative impact their decisions have on them. They clearly don't care about their employer as they are trying to break their contract and dictate where they will work. They clearly don't care about Canadians, because even before the strike they could not provide adequate service. This has been widely debated by many more people than I.

Yes I do call out people working from home. Yes EVERYONE at work feels that those at home are screwing the system. Feel free to keep your head in the sand about how this will affect everyone including those staying at home.

But you do you. If you think the Canadian public are supporting PSAC you're more simple than I already think you are.

I'm on point. You said they should all quit. This was before any mention of passports came into the picture since you claimed no one would miss those workers. (Of which those who handle immigration, visas, passports are a subset) I made no claims about support on PSAC or anything. I'm just asking you simple questions based on your "simple" solutions. (Eg, all of them should quit, no one would miss them, etc.) How do you determine anyone who doesn't agree with you (or is striking) doesn't care about their community? You make a lot of wild assertions. These are my first posts in this thread.

First multiple posters here. If you think the service provided by the majority of public servants, specifically those at home, is remotely of any quality, I font know what to say. Passloets is merely a specific section doing a horrible job, and yes, they should be revamped huge.

Lazy, entitled, demanding wirh no accountability is what they are.

Nobody sees the fruits of their " so called" work. It's a running joke.

Just try to defend working from home. Just try to explain how it's good for the community.

Are you drunk? (I font know what to say. Passioets is merely...) WTF?! I"m not here to defend working from home. I couldn't care less. Just asking some simple questions based on whoever posted that nonsense that all of those on strike should quit, no one would notice, etc. Was that you? If not, then I"m not asking those questions of you.

Ask the right question then.

How about defending working from home.

How about explaining how public transportation can survive with a massive drop in ridership.

How about explaining how the small businesses downtown can survive without customers going to work.

How about explaining the drop in productivity of people working from home.

How about explaining why people going to work aren't worth more now that they have no choice but to go to work.

How about explaining how the talent pool for these "so called" work from home positions, hasn't jumped exponentially because people can be hired from anywhere. This means FAR more supply than demand, and a drop in pay.

How about the reality that people working from home are doing much more than work, laundry, groceries, cutting the grass, making dinner, cleaning the house, taking care of children, working out, etc. My own friends are abusing the system and admitting it!!

Just try and address ANY of these issues.

Agree, but selfish people only see it from their point of view and what benefits them. They don't care about the small business or transportation or what impact wfh has on society as a whole. They only care that they save on gas, after school daycare and can move to their cottage.

I know someone that has a high up position at a university and won't go in. More than 250k a year and won't go in. But you'll see them walking the dog all day and running errands.
