Are you drunk? (I font know what to say. Passioets is merely...) WTF?! I"m not here to defend working from home. I couldn't care less. Just asking some simple questions based on whoever posted that nonsense that all of those on strike should quit, no one would notice, etc. Was that you? If not, then I"m not asking those questions of you.
Ask the right question then.

How about defending working from home.

How about explaining how public transportation can survive with a massive drop in ridership.

How about explaining how the small businesses downtown can survive without customers going to work.

How about explaining the drop in productivity of people working from home.

How about explaining why people going to work aren't worth more now that they have no choice but to go to work.

How about explaining how the talent pool for these "so called" work from home positions, hasn't jumped exponentially because people can be hired from anywhere. This means FAR more supply than demand, and a drop in pay.

How about the reality that people working from home are doing much more than work, laundry, groceries, cutting the grass, making dinner, cleaning the house, taking care of children, working out, etc. My own friends are abusing the system and admitting it!!

Just try and address ANY of these issues.
I don't care about any of that because I haven't taken any position with you on the striking workers. You're a wild one. Just addressing some of your wildest claims such as when you said they all should be fired or they should all quit. Or when you said they don't care about their communities. You can find someone else to debate the rest of your gish gallop vomit.

Why do you claim all these people on strike don't care about their community?

I know someone that has a high up position at a university and won't go in. More than 250k a year and won't go in. But you'll see them walking the dog all day and running errands.
...or perhaps it could be some wackjob hockey dad at their so-called office posting non-hockey related rants on MHT all day.

So you're in denial. I went to a cottage with 6 couples total last summer, of the 12 people there, 6 were government workers working from home. 2 were private sector working from home, 2 were first responders who had to go to work, 1 was a nurse who had to go to work and 1 was a small business owner who had to go to work. Of the 8 working from home, 6 of them were "still working" while at the cottage for 2 days during the week.

Makes me sick, and these are my friends. They fully admitted that others were taking care of kids at home, not really working, others were handy building all kinds of things including helping one of the others on a basement reno!! Yup, work from home my ass.

Why should I tell you how they support their community? I didn't make any claims. You on the other hand made a claim they (and anyone who doesn't agree with you) doesn't support their community. How do you know?

In denial about what? I don't care if someone works from home or not. I'm not advocating for any position here. Sorry you feel the way you do about about your friends though.

I just find it hilarious you and the other KarenGPT rant about people working from home or striking while you spend your days at the so-called "office" going full on nuts about non-hockey related topics such as this on MHT.

They don't support the long established small businesses in the downtown cores by going to work. Pay lip service is meaningless yet they do LOTS OF THAT. Please tell me how they help this integral part if our community.

They do not support public transportation as rhey no longer take it. Public transit doesn't function unless pre civid numbers use it. Therefore it's service will be cut to various degrees and im some places completely. Let's see whi dies this hurt, the economically challenged, students and those who will lose their jobs worh public transit.

They divide the community by gaining overnight the advantages of "so called" working from home. They often flaunt it on the faces of this who have to go to work. This divide hurts community morale as it is now do what is best for you regardless of how it impacts others. Do what saves you money, time and allows you freedom to do other things, all the while DEMANDING MORE MONEY, while others get less and still have to incur the costs if going to work.

They are proving across the board that there is tons of abuse of their freedom and no accountability.

Their value before covid was questionable. Their poor performance on big issues such as passports has been well documented, yet they ask for more. NONE OF THEM lost money during covid. Let that sink in. They didn't lose their jobs and didn't go through the stresses others faced. Yet they DEMAND for more!

They have zero support from the public.

There i answered your questions again, I challenge you to refute my points.

Easy sister it's clear a statement of facts triggers you. Your temper tantrum and infantile approach to this is glaringly obvious. You lash out when defeated.

I understand. You can't contribute yet feel entitlement.

You know what we call your kind.

Try.....

My temper tantrum? You sure like to delude yourself. If I'm telling you I find your actions here on MHT hilarious, how am I throwing a temper tantrum? You're so upset that you're typing endless rants with grammatical and spelling mistakes. Verbal diarrhea. The fact that I personally don't care about whether or not you or the next guy works from home really pisses you off eh? Keep whining!

Go KarenGPT, go!
