Guest wrote: Thu Mar 23, 2023 11:54 am Well said. Why everyone isn't back at work as their original job description stated is a mystery. We all know it's the entitled Left that push this. No regards to the impact on anyone around them. No regards for the employee without will be young and eager, and actually wants to come to work. Nope, these hypocrites are all a out them.

Whoever posted about how covid was managed and to thank doctors and politicians is one of those working from home and probably has a DOCTOR'S note to back him up. Trust the doctors! Meh
Seriously, what do you care if people are working from home or not? And before you turn and attack me, I had to go into work through it all. It sounds like you're just pissed that someone might have a better situation than you. And believe me, if you ever (god forbid) get a cancer diagnosis, you'll be trusting and thanking doctors pretty quickly.

Hmm let's see at my job we are a team of 8. There are many components to my job that require meeting people in person to problem solve. There is also a teaching component. There are twice weekly meetings. There is a must answer phone to answer, etc. Only I come in to work. Others have doctor's notes to stay home. What could have happened at home, requiring a doctor's note so that from now on they can ONLY work from home. What illness do they have. Funny enough I run on to them and there's nothing wrong.

But they do expect, read that again, expect, opportunities for job advancement.

This is merely one example. Think about the ramifications on the greater community. Businesses closing. Public transit not being used nearly enough and about to bankrupt.

You don't care about those impacts on the greater good do you. I have more than enough reasons to stay at home, and when I brought this up wirh my boss he said I couldn't because who would do all the work. Ironic.

The people off at home aren't there because of cancer or some other ailment, they sre there out of selfishness. If they can prove otherwise, so be it. DOCTORS have been complicit in writing bogus notes.

Cocid brought out people's true colors. We a know it.

You're trying to justify people working at home?

Why won't you speak to how that "overnight" change affected those around them?

You don't care about your community!

Ah we can go down the long list of experts willing to give their 2 cents on what to do. You miss the point genius, you're doing what you accuse others of doing, acting like an expert. You expose yourself as an entitle brat each time.

Thank you

Noted. Thanks McFly

Pal, you need to take it somewhere else. A lot of people died and disrespectful and damaging for you to keep pedalling your dumb ideas. Move on. Or stick your head in the stand and thank the medical community and politicians for managing this crisis.
Bring everyone back to work. Stop taking advantage of this. Selfish people are ruining this country. Get your vax, don't get it, go back to work. This crisis was and continues to be mismanaged brutally. You want to thank people?! My God man what kind of monster are you?
Agree, all these lazy asses at home. Get back to work!! I worked through all of this - never got covid.
Me to, never had a day i could stay home! People still using covid as a reason to stay home. Did your vaccine work or not?! Same mentality here about vaccines and coming back to work. Everyone is selfish. Regardless of your vaccine status, GET BACK TO WORK AT WORK! do it for ykir community and the greater good! Waan't that the mantra of those working towards vaccine acceptance? Same applies to the health of our economy, our community and how we have built our cities since forever.

Just look at public transit as an example. It can't function and be viable unless people use it. Period. Look at all the businesses negatively impacted by the sudden shut off of clients. Those at home literally don't care. They are brutal hypocrites.
100% agree. And these are the same people you'll see at the store and going out to social events and friends/relative's homes (maskless) but yet they can't go into the office. Give me a break! These bums got used to it and I agree it is selfish. I went downtown and there are so many businesses closed up because of this.

I agree with you completely. I have one person in my department who worked at home during entirely during the pandemic. Now she is asked to come back to work 2 times a week (downtown). She lives in Mississauga. She got a doctor's note saying she can only come downtown once a week. Also, she got a doctor's note a little while ago for handicapped parking because she says her back hurts and she can't walk far. She recently went to New York City and Europe and told us how she clocked at least 25,000 steps per day walking around......

100% agree with you!! They aren't working at home because of illness, that's why I'm pissed at the doctors who sign notes for these bums, IMHO it's fraud, to stay home. They stay home out of selfishness and because it has made life easy. Look at the Feds demanding a raise, yet the majority of them working from home. Decrease their pay!!

How will employers deal with this, they currently are rudderless and addressing these one at a time. The Feds gave their employees another year to work from home. So another year to create bad habits, be unsupervised and screw over their community. These bums say they support the community, but these are empty words. They don't want your words, they want your business. Public transportation wants these bums on buses, taking trains and subways. These bums won't do it, and then act surprised when the economy and their community suffers!!

What about the young people who want to go to the office to meet people!?!?! They may not have this! Covid exposed the weak and entitled of our society.

I hear ya it's epidemic right now. My neighbor is a Director for the Feds. He was told his team had to come back twice a week with this being a progressive plan to a full return. He was told one day the team had to be in together, and another day at their discretion. He picked Tuesday as the day to come in, and within 2 days more than half his team had excuses why Tuesday was a bad day for them. They won't come in!!

If I'm a Union, I'm demanding more money for those who actually come to work!! Sacrifice those who save money, time, wear and tear on vehicles, etc. as they are gaining in other ways. They can't be rewarded. Heck even the Teaching assistants who work part time but want full time pay, look good in comparison now. My god how the bar has been lowered!!

Yup guy in my office said he's home with a bad back and stress. Didn't have that before Covid. He's also an avid back woods hunter, handyman and world traveller. He bragged about how he managed to navigate through the crazy roundabouts in Rome!! But he can't come to work, too much stress. Thing is he got stressed not at work, but after 3 years working at home!!

Unbelievable! He should tell them "we are all coming in one day together, let's all decide what day that will be" if it doesn't work, he should go in on random days and check in on them without notice.
