Agreed. Sad part of hockey. Money and politics talk
Slim pickings this year. Some are well known problem parents and kids arnt great - just no one better showed up - none of them of them have any clout
You mean no one showed up with parents willing to kiss Dunns ass.

Do you think jw gives 2 shits about what any parent thinks???
The guys very connected in this world - all you little losers are really meaningless in his big picture
Little Johnny Weiner and his dad are tight with Dunn so get over yourself. JW is irrelevant also

J cut a strong kid at the very first cut and signed number 6. Those two things are enough for anyone to know it’s corrupt

4'11" JW has never coached a team that wasn't stacked. Let's see how he does with this group. It's easy to coach stacked teams, but a real coach will be able to take a mediocre team and turn them into something great.

It's laughable when I read comments like, "this is aaa". So f*cking what if this is aaa. Oh, so that means in aaa kids are as mature as adults and understand everything the same way a pro would. Give that bullsh*t line "this is aaa" a rest. These are still children. They need to be mentored, coached, encouraged, motivated, inspired, etc...etc... Any coach who doesn't care should not be coaching because a coach who doesn't care is not a coach. Period.

Omg youre such a loser - when your kids playing beer league next year youll have lots of time to volunteer mentor encourage and motivate under privileged children - but youre so perfect you’re probably already doing that! Stop fking gaslighting douche! Stop trashing jw and the good players and their parents - you suck move along.

"this is aaa" - "you're such a loser" "you're kid will be playing beer league next year" "gaslighting douche" "you suck" - sums up what a lot of these aaa parents are like - they are some of the most toxic people I've ever had the misfortune of meeting

The point, that you either didn't understand or purposely avoided, was the fact that people who say "this is aaa" are saying this as if kids who play aaa are so much different or better than everyone else. They're not. They're still kids. They need good role models. They need coaches who care about their development. They need coaches who care about them as people. Just because a kid is playing aaa doesn't make them any different than kids who play single a or aa or bb or whatever other level of hoceky.

There was no mention of JW. Don't even know the guy. I do know that he has had a lot of success as a coach and that's awesome. He volunteers his time to coach and that is also awesome. We need more non-parent coaches like JW.
