This has to be a butt hurt LJK dad. Question is what one hates PP the most?
Better hurry and make changes to the 4th best team in Canada. I just looked and looks like they have lost no Alliance games this year. Are you OK?
PP & RM both stand up guys and have done alot for 2011 age group
There would be many teams throughout Ontario and beyond that would be jacked to have a RM or PP to lead their team!
Do tell then why PP isn't coaching in the G? RM could get a team because he has a track record of success. Where did LJK finish last season? Top 30? Yeah, the world of minor hockey is killing to get PP to coach. Overrated. Anyone can stand there and scream at players. That's easy. Relating to them is totally different. The best coaches are able to build rapport and motivate the players by making them feel like they matter.
You are likely a bottom end AAA parent having trouble understanding the game…or you just clearly have never had a clue about the game. Hopefully not a combined version of both. Why would an Alliance coach go to the toxic G? Your suggestion makes zero sense. Did you even play hockey yourself? Or just get lucky enough to have your little all star be okay enough at pee wee so that you can have an opinion Vicarious Dad! Good luck next season “coach”
The GTHL is the best league in the world. Toxic it might be, but still the best.
Success would come from the best coaching paired with solid AAA-caliber players. London has good AAA players. Why no championships? Beating sh*t teams like CK LJS WS CH means nothing. EMC can win because they have good coaching AND good players. There is a difference between coaching junior hockey where players already know how to play the game vs younger kids who need a good coach to teach them. Why is JRC so good? Just because they have good players? No. They have good coaching.
I have several friends that Coach in the GTHL and there are very few parents in the Alliance that would be willing to pay what their Coaches charge for their Seasons. For most of them Coaching is their full time job. They Coach and they run off season Clinics where people pay trying to get their kids on those teams. Very typical for a GTHL AAA Coach that does Clinics to make 175 - 250 G a year and a large portion of that Cash! Thats the reality! Alliance Coach outside of U16 maybe expenses and a couple Grand. Get what you pay for.
So if you're so dense as to pick and overpriced hyped program over a good hockey program, well you know what they say, a fool and his money. Oh and no one here is playing AAA cause mommy and daddy make a huge donation? LOL funny.
Open borders has nothing to do with paying coaches or cashing in. You can have open borders without the dumbness of paying this kind of money to play. Since you have the communist mentality and rules so much, open boarders, salary capped coaches.
There's a lot of kids in the area, they avoid EMC at all costs and F1 elsewhere or just stick to Shamrock. They don't need or want your EMC crap. Bring a kid to a tryout and coaches won't even let the regular EMC kids skate against kids trying out that weren't there last year? Yeah that's a way to gauge talent! What are you all afraid of? I thought you're for the development of EM kids!

Here is the logical way to filter
Separate into EMC and non EMC
As a coach you already know what the EMC kids can do and if you are new you should have been scouting
The EMC kids just take reps away from the non EMC kids
Non EMC kids compete with non EMC kids to show who are the best
Then bring the returning EMC kids together with the best non EMC kids and make decisions
Here is the real issue
One 50 or 80 min skate once a week in Shamrock does not develop as much as the two 80 min skates in EMC...the older the kids get the larger the gap becomes the majority of the time

This leads to skyrocketing costs especially when the ultra rich get involved.
Its not an academic endeavor
Look to the gthl for your proof.

Absolutely right
loss of control by the community that the arena operates in and by the people that volunteer and operate much more than just hockey in these facilities.
Fear of corrupt individuals with purely selfish motives running teams soley for the purpose of profit
Fear of talented kids missing out on opportunities due to finances and politics.
Open border advocates are so transparent its not funny. They do not care about anyone or anything other than their own kid - this is why volunteer positions will disappear under this regime.
