You are in a 07' age group forum, agents are on to 2008' and 2009' players, hate to burst your bubble, they are not calling you in May after the draft as an 07'.Guest wrote: ↑Mon May 08, 2023 7:51 am Gladiator agency - any thoughts? Approached my son and we are not sure about them.

Re: ETA 2007
Most are just getting ice, they can commit to U18 and still sign in Jr. It is called "locking in spots"

Another bitter dad with goggles. Pissed your kid didn’t make cut eh? I guess 20 teams somehow missed yours.Guest wrote: ↑Thu Jun 01, 2023 3:29 pm Drafted is one thing, playing is another thing. OHL teams have jr A teams that they will send their drafted kids to play.Keep dreaming Dads
Lots of drafted kids will play. Yours won’t and shouldn’t.
Re: ETA 2007
Lots of drafted kids will play? 45/302 have signed as of today. You consider 15% lots? And again signed doesn’t mean they will play meaningful minutes. Maybe just settle down. If you kid got drafted in the first 4 rounds they have a shot to play everyone else (200+) will need to find a spot somewhere else. Junior A/B can only sign 2 16 year olds so that leaves the bulk of kids looking at U18. It’s not about goggles and being pissed it’s called being realistic.Guest wrote: ↑Thu Jun 01, 2023 8:49 pmAnother bitter dad with goggles. Pissed your kid didn’t make cut eh? You haven't even included UNDRAFTED kids that have signed! So you are right NOT all drafted kids sign, but undrafted ones do! So there is still hope for your kid, but being an asshole parent like you are, your kid is going nowhere!

Also another incorrect fact, if you acquire 16 year old cards from other teams you can sign 2+ 16 year olds!

Acquiring a 16 yr old card from another team does not change the overall number of 16 yrs that can play in Jr A/B, it just means that one team has made the decision to not use their 16 yr old card(s) and have allowed another team to use. But with that said how many times has it happened that a Jr A/B has signed more than 2 16 yr olds? It's pretty rare I'm sure.

How does anything I said make me an asshole parent? You don’t know my situation and I don’t know yours. Just giving you some stats to consider and you go right to name calling. Not going to argue online with someone like you. Enjoy your season wherever you kid plays.
