Maybe just settle down. If you kid got drafted in the first 4 rounds they have a shot to play everyone else (200+) will need to find a spot somewhere else. Junior A/B can only sign 2 16 year olds so that leaves the bulk of kids looking at U18. It’s not about goggles and being pissed it’s called being realistic.
Also another incorrect fact, if you acquire 16 year old cards from other teams you can sign 2+ 16 year olds!
Acquiring a 16 yr old card from another team does not change the overall number of 16 yrs that can play in Jr A/B, it just means that one team has made the decision to not use their 16 yr old card(s) and have allowed another team to use. But with that said how many times has it happened that a Jr A/B has signed more than 2 16 yr olds? It's pretty rare I'm sure.

You claimed that a team can only sign two 16 yo players, I proved you wrong, just take it on the chin like your wife does.

That and the fact that you know how many have signed? That’s strange guy. Obsessed are we? Your need to state the obvious is funny. Of course it’s hard for 16 year olds to play anyone with a kid who’s in the mix to play understands that. No different at any level. Vast majority who stick will be in and out of lineup or playing minimal mins year one. Thx for enlightening us all there Champ. What would we all do without you bitter guy. Just keep telling your kid he got screwed - that will help him a tonne.

He’s busy writing cheques to AHA so his kid has a spot next year.

Not sure about GOJHL but in the OJHL, you can’t acquire and use a 16yr old card from another team any longer. You use to be able to trade 16yr. Old cards but that ended at the start of last year.
No OJHL team will have more than 2 16yr olds on their full time roster. They can’t be a healthy scratch, and have to play a minimum number of shifts. I believe GOJHL has those same playing rules for 16yr olds but am not sure.

OJHL stopped the trade of 16yr old cards last year. Not sure about GOJHL, CCHL or NOJHL but there will be no more than 2 16 yr old players on full time cards in the OJHL.

These are full time cards.

All teams can AP more 16 year olds. But they can’t be in full time cards.
