Most teams have improved. YSE is the biggest question with the 7 players trying depart to the G. Let's see how that all unfolds and if the Organization will actually provide releases to those players.

BC will be unstoppable (undefeated all season)
COW looks much better and will be Top 4
QRD - same
APR not looking as strong as last season with the changes
YSE will drop in the standings even if half of the players trying to exit actually get releases
MW - merge of 8 and 10 place teams.........
PP - lost some players to COW
What about Oshawa? They looked pretty good towards the end of the year.
Did the 7 players from YSE end up getting releases?

Not a parent on the team but here's what I've heard (someone feel free to correct me):

#7, #22, #31 all gone to the GTHL
#9 and #29 went back to Barrie where #9 made the team and #29 asked for a release

Not sure who the last two are but have heard rumours.

Sounds about right. Apparently there were more than 3 suppose to be going to the GTHL and the Organization was suppose to be filing a complaint with the OHF and requested an investigation. All rumours! If I’m fact YSE lost that number of players from last years team, they may not be as strong as they were this past season.

Not a parent on the team either but if they managed to retain RE17 they will still be competitive in most games as I personally consider him one of the top players in the loop. They will be mid-pack though if all of these players walked and they have to fill them with cuts from other teams and AA kids.

No, #9 from YSE went back to Barrie. It was his home centre.

How did WW and CT fair after the tryout? Will they be more competitive this year?
