Win the Scta 100%

Shit the bed at alliance championships because of lack of scoring. That hasn’t changed. Best case 2nd in SCTA, worst case 4th.
Niagara has the best team.
Halton or Oakville #2
Hamilton 3
Niagara never beat the huskies the 2 times they played last year.
Ya but Niagara also picked up a #1 goalie that is apparently a God sent
And we added 4-5 kids that improve our team...so whats your point now?
the 1 or 2 Bulldogs that you added won't make the difference

Goals for last year in regular season

Niagara 179
Oakville 173
Halton 164
Guelph 135
STA 134
B.E. 129
Credit River 100
Huskies 100

SCTA teams played 6 more games but the Huskies also played in the weakest AAA loop in Ontario and only managed 100 goals... don't think the 1 or 2 new additions will make the difference Meli

Steel 2012 team will be gritty and play hard but still has no studs and that’s what they need to get over the hump. That’s what cost them last year in the alliance championships, nobody who could rise above top (alliance lol) competition and they couldn’t score goals. If they get off to a slow start maybe that Tommy kid gets moved up to jumpstart the offence. I guess we’ll see

I don’t see much improvement at all even with the added huskies.
This is also across other teams . Some teams picked more huskies than Hamilton players. Results will be shown in the rankings

It will take a few yrs for this to work , maybe yr 2 of the 3 yr pilot program

Just enjoy the ride and have fun watching your kid play, don’t worry about anything else. It goes by to fast before draft season, your superstars that are seen in the early ages either quit or get passed by others.

I've had two boys go through the Huskies program until midget and I agree with you. That is really good advice.

Enjoy the ride is right . It comes to a end pretty quick , some will move on in hockey but most will
Take with them all the life lessons that hockey provides. Only a select few make it to the next level.

If only parents would take this advice..... most kids quit hockey because there parents are the losers ruining it for them.

U mean like the 2011s just did?

That’s just the way it works. The best kids make the team regardless of whether they tried out or not. Welcome to the real world.

08 Team should be middle of the pack. The 3 kids coming back from HH will help.

How do they know they’re the best kids then? Based on what they did months ago during last season? Was the kid afraid to compete against the new kids trying out?
The difference in 6 months in kids this age is equal to 2-3 years of changes as an adult.
Sounds like a BS excuse for a political pick to me.
