U12 Steel didn’t have their way with Lambton, they tied 1-1 
Then a nice win over a Mid Fairfield team that almost lost to Whitby.
The first true test of this season comes today against the Marlies. We will find out if our U12 team is for real or just looks good playing against bad teams. Tommy has been carrying the offence as expected and hopefully can keep it up.
Win today and they’re very legit! Lose badly and STFU.
Then a nice win over a Mid Fairfield team that almost lost to Whitby.

Tommy & Kaus carry this squad. As MS. Top 2 scorers again this weekend. Even the Marlies coaches said after the game that the Steel were never a threat. They haven’t earned the respect of good teams and this game didn’t change that. Shutout and our U12’s maaaaaybe had 10 or 12 shots on goal.
Marlies went up 2-0 early then sat all their studs to rest for their MF game tonight. Cruised to an easy 3-0 win.
Tie against Lambton who is a terrible team was another indication this team is not ready for prime time.

OMHA refs gave the Marlies 8 penalties including a 5 on 3 for the Steel…OMHA refs did our boys a solid but we couldn’t capitalize. Marlies were too big too fast we were never really in the game. let’s see if the U12 team makes the quarter finals before passing judgement. If they do then that’s an accomplishment. If they don’t even make the top 8 then they should really keep quiet.
