Unlike you, words don't offend me...lol
His tactics are to try and belittle you and find a nerve, most narcissist have that excessive admiration of themselves, so it's fitting that he acts this way. He's probably the drunk on the barstool with a completely warped view of how the world works and how it self revolves around them. I feel sorry for idiots like this, have to come to this forum to trash talk about good coaches and bad parents. Sadly if you had a real perception of the world there's good and bad in everything.
shhhhhh less is more

your pontificating is embarrassing. There are some good coaches for sure. You're the d-bag saying ALL parents are the problem. Pot meet kettle champ. You're the typical guy who throws shade, but heaven forbid it gets sent back at you-you're weak. Just like the coach working in a closed center system, you can't stand on your own two feet and earn your way. pathetic
I never said all parents are the problem, most coaches are the problems, and dbag? LOL ok. I've been on both sides of the coin champ. Learn how to skate and come talk to me. Don't disagree that weak coaches in a closed centre are 100% protected, usually by their self appointed other drunk buddies on the board. I did remark there is good and bad parents and coaches every where. Coaching kids should be easy, coaching parents is a nightmare. Some parents view 1 kid on the ice and have tunnel vision, they don't realize there's a team game with a game plan built on the skills and strategies of the players. It's hard to coach when mom and dad are paying johnny for goals and johnny isn't a goal scorer. But damn you if you don't double shift little johnny! It's a no win champ, let me know if you need a skating instructor?

Can't hide the coach in you I see. Quick to blame parents. Yup they can be a huge problem, no denying it. Most centres are closed, and therefore coaches lack accountability. This is worse.

Tey earning your way champ, and have people feely chose what you offer. Why are you so scared of the merit approach? If you're any good, which i can see you're naive and therefore not good, parents would want to be part of your team. Let the problem ones go on their own, and attract the good ones. That seems to hard for a bemder like you.

You're welcome.

Love the assumptions when you don't know a damn thing about me! I'm not scared of a thing, I know what my strengths and my weaknesses are. I'm not claiming to be anything I'm not, I've taken my team to the top. Not all the parents liked it, but the ones that didn't couldn't see that it's a team game and their beloved little johnny had certain strengths and weaknesses. Sometimes mom and dad think the 15 skater is a superstar, not always the case, not usually the case. Funny though the ones that scream and complain sound a lot like you and honestly your player isn't strong enough that's why you act the way you do. I turned the team over after 2 years, it's important to hear a different voice, I've decided i'm best at being supportive parent in the stands. I've been asked to take the team back by numerous parents after the last 2 years of disaster. Not my disaster, my son left. So stop posting your drivel comments and move along.

Q. Why haven't you gotten your kid a release?

A. No coach / team will commit to your kid, so you haven't applied.

A bit melancholy on my barstool today. Usually this time of year I get a little bit excited for the bs I get to put all these families through for the next 7 months. Perhaps I should make a comeback. I mean how will I ever co-exist outside being "the man" and bully a bunch of 10 year olds. Well I might actually become and alcoholic without any thing to do such as coaching. I mean I could spend more time with my fat dirty spouse, or my delinquent children, i shudder at the thought. Oh better go, buddy's here!
