Re: Kingston Jr. Gaels
My sons U11 team will win red hats this year. No one will even come close to beating us.
Re: Kingston Jr. Gaels
No one has the nerve to post their name on this forum or string...why is that?
For fear that you're player won't be chosen? Our fear that you might be found out?
Instead of complaining about how bad the board is, or how bad the coaches are, how about stepping up to help strengthen GK, instead of knocking it down?
There are so many people behind the scenes that work hard at making hockey great for the players, and not ONE of you steps up to help. All you do is complain. Try being in the other side of it, listening to parents complain, second guessing every coaching decision that is made, every hockey decision that is determined. Hockey is made up of very dedicated VOLUNTEERS. Do you ever think that people don't want to coach, or volunteer because of the parents or people on this page? It's the way it is. This whole string is garbage.
If you can make hockey better, stop posting trash, and step the Hell up and help make it better.
CD, PM, pats board members, beer guy and all of the other volunteers you Bash, give their time to hockey, and never get any thanks. Without those people, there wouldn't be hockey

Almost all do it for their own interests, lets not be naïve.
Re: Kingston Jr. Gaels
EXACTLY. Somehow Beer Guy's kid was able to play in Quinte last year - but other's like DK and GG were not granted releases. Funny how that works.

That's cause beer guy's kid was cut from GKGuest wrote: ↑Tue Nov 05, 2024 1:35 pm EXACTLY. Somehow Beer Guy's kid was able to play in Quinte last year - but other's like DK and GG were not granted releases. Funny how that works.
Re: Kingston Jr. Gaels
There is no way he was cut from GK last year when they were short players. He was involved in a trade, only way the release happened. Again depending on who you are or what you bring to the table, the executive will allow releases for certain players and not others. Can't wait to see what will happen next year with open borders - no one is coming to KJG.
Re: Kingston Jr. Gaels
Our depth will be tested now. Injury to one of our best players. Coach will be using his son even more than normal now. Wonder if he'll still use two forwards on the pp when we're leading. No point in developing your own defense.
Re: Kingston Jr. Gaels
Not the weekend we were hoping for. Our offence was way down. Imagine if we had more structure to our game like Quinte does. It would provide us with many more natural scoring opportunities. Structure though would take away from dad being able to accumulate a personal highligh reel. Been a frustrating couple of seasons.Guest wrote: ↑Thu Nov 07, 2024 3:18 pm Our depth will be tested now.
