Being 2016 Tier 1 Division A is beneficial to teams that are somewhat comparable and is the case for majority of the teams there except for maybe Saints. Cannot picture any of the division B teams being able to compete there. Teams like Aces and Stars would get blown out. The biggest difference between Division A and B is that passing and team play. Sure the YK have a lot of talent but Raiders silver do not have anywhere near the same level of talent but they have been coached very well to play in a system allowing them to be a strong team. If you look at teams like the Wranglers, Saints, Stars there is very little passing, no spacing out, forwards are trapped with the puck and don't look to make the pass to another open forward or even up top to the D.

This is sooo true speaking from these team we wonder when the forwards will start passing, there are multiple forwards who never pass the puck. it’s so sad to see at the 2016 level that they all want to be super stars and the goal.

How does everyone feel about coaching at this level? I seen some head coaches screaming at the kids on the bench this past weekend and these kids are 8 and here to have fun.

Watching YK play I was shocked at how kids so you can play a system so well and move the puck around. For that matter even the Raiders Silver and somewhat Raider Black and Cobras. Buffalo team doesn’t really pass and have kids trying to go end to end otherwise they’d perform a lot better.

I saw a lot of hard talk against the saints and aces here but let’s be real, neither of them are easy outs and can beat you if things don’t go right… we are still at the age where the best kids aren’t always on the best teams just look at the Sabres who have that one kid who if he’s 100% can beat nearly an entire team. He didn’t look 100% this weekend but still was by far the best player I saw all weekend.

Saints is a gongshow. Coaches Fighting. Parents Fighting. Kids Leaving. Parents Suspended. Coaches Suspended. Assistant Coach getting booted. Kids Fighting. Not sure what I signed up for but this club is toxic.

If you didn't see that coming you're a fool.
AC has a history of being a poor team manager and leaders. Sure, he knows how to play the game and probably teach some skills. But if your kid is 8yo and you're more worried about having a coach with a AAA G-league team than a coach that is there and committed to the kids, what else can you expect?

He's there to win at any cost. Taking kids no matter what parent comes in tow. Shows up to a bare-minimum of practices... why do you think it was so easy for his assistant coach to poach kids to come to his own AAA team next year? The parents are there for one thing, and thats next year. Not a team first mentality.

And that is the whole problem. It’s a team game. It’s not tennis. You have to teach kids to move the puck around.

You need to talk loud from the bench for kids to hear you.
if you've ever coached competitive sports, emotions are high and its like being in a battle together. As long as no one is being demeaning, or over the top they are fine. Your little ipad princess probably needs to experience it. Its good for them.

If you don't like it, put them in soccer.
