My son who is 5.5 was approached to play for this league.... I'm curious and nervous. I've been told it can create bad mojo between my son and the league he should be playing in while also being told it's full ice etc and AAA hockey so he will get better. Don't know what to do or the implications that truly apply. There is a lot of arguing I'm seeing here but I'm hoping I can get some truthful answers to the following questions

Can he be banned ?

Is this truly AAA hockey ?

Am I missing something here ?

Alright, listen up, y’all. I’ve been through it. I’m talking hockey, family drama, the whole nine yards. I got kids in the game, cousins in the game, you name it. I’m basically the MVP of life, okay? Been around the block so many times I’m on a first-name basis with the pavement.

Now, let me drop some knowledge on you. You ever see one of those elite athletes just walking down the street, like it’s a casual Tuesday? No jacket, no flashy gear, just straight up swagger. You KNOW who they are, right? You ever see those cats strolling through school halls, looking like they just walked out of an action movie? No need for a AAA jacket. They just radiate that “I’m a legend” vibe.

Back in high school, I didn’t need a AAA jacket to tell you I was a beast. I’d roll up in my wife beater, arms like the Hulk, and people would literally stop and stare. Why? Because I was the guy. No need to flex. It was already written in the stars. Water’s wet, the sky’s blue, and when you looked at me, you knew, I was an athlete. A specimen. Period.

1. Klevr is not controlled by Hockey Canada so he could also play for local associations.

2. It is Tiered yes there are a lot of AAA calibre kids-teams but not all.

3. Klevr costs a lot more than local leagues due to it being privately run and based on a lot of travel expenses to families. Some people swear by it others despise it.

Go check it out in person and make your decision.

Alright, let’s be honest here, some of you need a wake-up call when it comes to your kids hockey careers. You’re all hyped up thinking your kid’s about to hit the show, but here’s the thing, you’re just not seeing reality. You look at your kid and think, “That’s my future NHL star!” But honestly, if we’re being real, most of your kids are more likely to be on the bench eating snacks than they are scoring goals in the Stanley Cup Finals. I’m not trying to be harsh, just keeping it real.

lol no kidding. I’m pretty sure everyone in KSL or any AAA team are aware of this. But only losers like you don’t shoot for the stars. Thought you had something here eh lol.

Alright, listen up, small town warriors! I see you out there, your dad driving you to the rink, trying to teach you to skate since you were knee high to a hockey stick, dreaming of one day playing for Tim Hortons (hey, it's a start, right?). You’re all thinking big: "I'm gonna be the next superstar for the Leafs!" I get it. Been there, done that. I was in your shoes, staring at that same rink, dreaming the same dreams.
But let’s be real for a sec, it’s tough out here in these tiny towns in Ontario. No big fancy teams, no buzzing hockey culture, unless you count the rink's ancient Zamboni. It’s the “what have you done for me lately?” kind of sport. If you’re hot, you’re hot. If you’re not? Well, good luck getting noticed between the snowstorms and the potholes.
Your parents, bless their hearts, are over here trying to get you a scholarship to some school in the States or better yet, the NHL. But here’s the kicker: most of us will probably end up frustrated as heck, ‘cause there’s always that kid who's faster, has more skills, and probably has a coach who doesn’t believe in nap time.
But hey, don’t worry. Some of you will end up going down the “it’s all about the tournament trophies” road, hanging onto those memories like the glory days of ‘99, when you were this close to being scouted by the local grocery store.
And look at me now, sitting here, reminiscing, reading about your games, thinking, “Man, I remember that!” So just remember, kids, no matter how small your town, you’re out there doing it. Keep your head up, keep skating, and if nothing else, keep the dream alive... and maybe grab a Timbit along the way.
