Who will keep their teams and who will change up.
From what I've heard the board can't wait to get rid of the U12 guy. Heard whisperings of a new coach for the U14 team and big player movements.
U12 coach has informed board he doesn’t want to coach….I hear he’s fed up with LJK board policies limiting development opportunities for kids so the board can continue to brag about being the most cost effective board in Ontario aka a dinosaur organization. LJK shouldn’t concern themselves with coaches who work hard and are organized but should instead worry about their handpicked U10, U14 and U16 board buddy coaches who are struggling bigtime….U16 is good in alliance but are embarrassing at tournaments with their “dream” roster.

To be clear you are suggesting the coach tried to run skills/extras and was told no?

Was the coach doing it gratis or was there a quid pro quo involved?

I believe it was about exhibition games and getting the kids some fun experiences and board was creating issues and making anything/everything difficult. The coach currently gets additional ice sessions for extra development so it’s good….and no he doesn’t charge money from it if that’s what you’re alluding to.

This is the same U12 coach that was screaming at his players last year?

He was suspended because he broke org policies. My understanding is the org was looking for a reason to fire the guy due to the maltreatment of the players last season. Most were surprised he was given a second chance. The faster we rid the game of guys like that, the better.

U14 is the big question mark. Definitely issues either with coaching or player selection. Like the U12 team, the politics is extremely thick. Time to get new players for both those teams and better coaching.

F*ck you talking about? U12 is not exactly kicking ass in the Alliance with losses to Huron, Sun County, and twice to Waterloo, not to mention losing every game to the Canucks and falling from top 10 last year to top 30 this year. Dinosaur org? More like dinosaur coach.

U12 has lost every tournament. Not great in the Alliance and a total embarrassment in every tournament. I guess U12 also has a "dream" roster!

U14 coach complained about kids being picked due to who spent money with the old u14 coach - well he did the same. So many kids have left LJK.

It's crazy to think that coaches who also run private skill development are allowed to coach. Total conflict of interest. If there were more associations nearby London like in the GTHL, LJK would be finished.
