I think this is ridiculous. Hockey Canada is always trying to enforce bullshit rules

This is simple, virtue, signalling that’s all it is, after all the sexual assault and sexual harassment allegations against hockey Canada! This is simply a look good project nothing more nothing less.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Oct 04, 2023 6:47 pm I think this is ridiculous. Hockey Canada is always trying to enforce bullshit rules

I would ask any board member of HC to come to any arena and change in the single bathroom stall located in the dressing rooms. The new rules are come wearing your undergear under your dress clothes, play your game, get out of your hockey gear, go to the single stall toilet in the dressing room, change your under gear into your bathing suit (this is seriously in the policy), shower, back to the disgusting piss all over the floor and wall toilet stall, put on your underwear, then into the change room to get your clothes on.... all under the direct supervision of the Coach (yep, that's in there too!).
I have always supported HC but if the result of the board changes has been to institute a bureaucracy which comes up with unsustainable and non realistic policy to justify their positions that is a shame.

Hockey Canada needs to be disbanded immediately. They offer zero value other than at the National Program level. Their wokeness is hopefully going to be their ultimate downfall. Hockey customs and traditions need to remain in place. If you don't like it...don't participate.

Hockey Canada just needs to die and go away period

Ridiculous...
How long would it take for a team of teenagers to line up and change into their civies in a disgusting toilet stall, one at a time? And if one or two of them have to actually take a shit??? Those who want to shower would have to change in the toilet stall twice...once, into their swimsuit to shower, then again to put on their clothes.
They can't be shirtless in the dressing room...but can be shirtless (wearing a swimsuit) in the open concept shower, 3 feet in view from the dressing room.
The absence of common sense is amazing, knowing the a ridiculousness of this policy wasn't raised somewhere along the line.
AND not to forget the poor coaches having to smile and support this on the news...how embarrassing. At least the teenage girl had enough courage to express her true thoughts about having to wear a swimsuits in the shower.
