I have a feeling you didn’t go to brick but are a bitter angry parent of a kid who wasn’t good enough. It’s not the end of the world.

I have a feeling you're still wearing your bulldogs jacket. Your kid isn't anything special anymore and everyone knows it. It's not the end of the world.
You mean pro hockey jacket? He wears it proudly. I’m sure your little ankle burner wished he was good enough to have gotten one. Takes after his parents I guess.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Nov 23, 2022 1:12 pmI have a feeling you're still wearing your bulldogs jacket. Your kid isn't anything special anymore and everyone knows it. After the brick yr tb will toss you away like a used tissue. Do they have any success after? Nope!Guest wrote: ↑Wed Nov 23, 2022 1:12 pmI have a feeling you're still wearing your bulldogs jacket. Your kid isn't anything special anymore and everyone knows it. It's not the end of the world.
Well that tissue now has ‘Brick Kid’ in his DNA and on his hockey resume. Expect to be a captain on any AAA team he plays on , expect self confidence oozing from him in whatever challenge is upon him. You clearly not getting the value of the Beick to your kid.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Nov 23, 2022 7:31 pmAfter the brick yr tb will toss you away like a used tissue. Do they have any success after? As they say, Brick isn't everything, it's the only thing for a 2013 AAA kid.Guest wrote: ↑Fri Nov 25, 2022 3:11 pm I am a parent of a 2013 kid. You would not believe the amount of talk about Brick Tournament. It is literally all consuming about tryouts, getting on the team, kids that should be on but not guaranteed a spot. Simply put, I don't want my kid playing hockey in the summer. However, clearly I am in the minority.
I found last year the parents who were most vocal about who should have been on the team were the ones who were furthest from getting there. A lot of insecure people on the outside looking in with their faces pressed against the window licking the glass. If your kid is good enough they’ll be picked, bottom line. Good on you for not getting too wrapped up.Guest wrote: ↑Fri Nov 25, 2022 3:11 pm I am a parent of a 2013 kid. You would not believe the amount of talk about Brick Tournament.
