If he becomes a 'Brick Kid', you carry this to captaincy, top AAA teams, provincials teams and ultimately in position for hockey at a Div 1 level. No it doesn't guarantee NHL but it will put you in position for a scholarship and entrenched leadership skills to carry through life.
Lmao your a joke !! If your kid is good enough when the time comes you don’t need the brick
To play D1 or OHL remember that

I have a feeling you didn’t go to brick but are a bitter angry parent of a kid who wasn’t good enough. It’s not the end of the world.
I have a feeling you're still wearing your bulldogs jacket. Your kid isn't anything special anymore and everyone knows it. It's not the end of the world.
After the brick yr tb will toss you away like a used tissue. Do they have any success after? Nope!
Well that tissue now has ‘Brick Kid’ in his DNA and on his hockey resume. Expect to be a captain on any AAA team he plays on , expect self confidence oozing from him in whatever challenge is upon him. You clearly not getting the value of the Beick to your kid.
Lol please your kid is going to use that tissue when he starts contact hockey !

I have two boys that are a lot older and very successful players
No one cares about the brick after the brick
Go for the experience if you like, but it will never further your kids hockey career.

Thanks for the advice and input. I am consumed by talk about the Brick on a daily basis. Yes, currently my kid is on the outside looking in.

Hey Pal, I plan to have him playing AAA until his draft year. He may not be a 'Brick kid' now but wait.

LE dad from TYN admitted his kid isn’t brick material and I actually had a bit of respect for the guy for being realistic. Then I come back on here and see he had the post deleted like a coward. C’mon Mikey! Be better my dude!
