Correction, there will be a couple who are there because of connections... MOST will be deserving. Stop trying to make yourself feel better by trivializing the accomplishments of others

love how people use the " too much money for brick" blah blah.....the bottom line is if your kid was asked 99% would go in a heartbeat. Brickitis sets in for all the parents.

All the kids that are asked are the best 30 in ontario minus 1 or 2 cause connections. Face the facts if your not asked your just not good enough!!!!

This is a business and both PH and Bulldogs want the best players to represent ...it is what it is!!!

That level of jealousy will take years off your life! Stop making excuses why your own kid won’t make it

The question though will he be good enough in July, 2023. Why is there not a hard date for selection to the Brick. This way all parents know the plan. 10 spots selected March 1 while final 6 spots selected April 1. You get the idea. Transparency is needed with the Brick. This will take so much of the 'speculation' out of the process.

The coaching is the bad part. Pro hockey takes who ever will take peanuts for pay and be the fall guy when things implode. Have not won in years. See the JS current status, AD leaving etc organization and multiple good coaches turning down offers to be the set up guy,

LH doesn’t have much to do with the team before Edmonton and the trip turns into a nightly piss-up for him while he’s there. Saw it firsthand last year. Disappointing.

Thats the model. Make a killing at tryouts. Talk about how important this will be. Get other guys to run development and go through the motions. Tourney time, Coach half drunk, or pass team to undeserving son. Make a bag of $$$. Rinse repeat.
