Alright, listen up, small town warriors! I see you out there, your dad driving you to the rink, trying to teach you to skate since you were knee high to a hockey stick, dreaming of one day playing for Tim Hortons (hey, it's a start, right?). You’re all thinking big: "I'm gonna be the next superstar for the Leafs!" I get it. Been there, done that. I was in your shoes, staring at that same rink, dreaming the same dreams.
But let’s be real for a sec, it’s tough out here in these tiny towns in Ontario. No big fancy teams, no buzzing hockey culture, unless you count the rink's ancient Zamboni. It’s the “what have you done for me lately?” kind of sport. If you’re hot, you’re hot. If you’re not? Well, good luck getting noticed between the snowstorms and the potholes.
Your parents, bless their hearts, are over here trying to get you a scholarship to some school in the States or better yet, the NHL. But here’s the kicker: most of us will probably end up frustrated as heck, ‘cause there’s always that kid who's faster, has more skills, and probably has a coach who doesn’t believe in nap time.
But hey, don’t worry. Some of you will end up going down the “it’s all about the tournament trophies” road, hanging onto those memories like the glory days of ‘99, when you were this close to being scouted by the local grocery store.
And look at me now, sitting here, reminiscing, reading about your games, thinking, “Man, I remember that!” So just remember, kids, no matter how small your town, you’re out there doing it. Keep your head up, keep skating, and if nothing else, keep the dream alive... and maybe grab a Timbit along the way.

what is this guys? leave this team alone. whats done is done. there are no issues on this team with parents. The problems are gone.
