Last year they attempt to phase it out at the AGM and it got voted down. Not sure about raising the NRPs, they have amalgamated many of the centres around London leaving our B centre decimated, but our executive still want to put out watered down products that have losing seasons. We have lost all our talent to A centres around us. Alliance seems to have their stuff together around us though.

OMHA in London area is a disaster. Lambeth should fold, but holes kids hostage. Strathroy and St No Names let kids play up multiple age groups when they’re mediocre, which decimates younger age groups, and then they wonder why there programs are weak and dissolving. Everyone wants to go to mount bridges a small center with the best coaches but they wont let anyone in. There needs to be a formula in place to make the playfield even.

Agreed, as a AA Centre, our second entry goes into A. Our best A teams have losing records and there are some that win no games in a 21-30 game schedule. But no, they are not allowed to go into the B division because we are a AA centre and our second entry has to be A. Such a joke. There may be a lot of hate on KV and Klevr but the teams started by choosing a division and then after the first tournament they got moved around. They ended up adding a bunch of divisions so that all of the teams played against teams close to their level. OMHA takes a hard line and refuses to use common sense, it is the kids that suffer.

That sucks to hear about the A teams, those teams should be able to play B or whatever, you know girls do have something smart with the no boundaries and pick your division

It would be better for development if they realigned the teams after a month or so. These programs need to be focused on developing as many kids as possible.

What’s nrp?

NRP=Non-resident player. Currently at the U12 age group and up teams can roster up to 3 NRP players meaning players that are from other centres and the the centre they are trying out for. The more the OMHA increases this allowed number, the weaker it will make the smaller centres as their best players should likely make higher caliber teams as NRp's

Only option for AA is Jr. knights. It’s due time the Elgin Middlesex Canucks offer a AA option, instead of shipping all their cuts to surrounding AAA centres.
