The kids involved talking about it in the changeroom, just shows the parents didn’t make them accountable for anything. Just blame others for their “mistakes”.

OK. Couple of things. Where does any of the above say this was "normal"? The post was that teenage boys have been known to do stupid things. If they took a car a crashed it that classifies as a stupid thing. Not a normal thing, a stupid thing. And they should be in trouble, no two ways about it.

And how does anyone know what was discussed in the changeroom? Were they there? Did they hear it? I doubt any adult was in the changeroom when and if these boys discussed it. Armchair parents need to cool it a bit. Who knows how any of the parents of these kids are handling it? Anyway, it's not my place to judge how people bring up their kids.

I would suggest that if it was discussed in the changeroom, it was mentioned by another player on the team to their parents after they heard it in the changeroom. Stupid thing is one thing, taking a car that doesnt belong to you, crashing said car into a house/fence, then taking off from the crash is beyond stupid. Common sense would tell 99% of teenage boys to NOT do that.

agree with you. but common sense for you and i is one thing, common sense though the lense of a 15 year old boy (and some adults on this forum) is something different

Was this the article where a teenage girl was the ONLY one arrested?

Don’t count on it. Drama queens here like to stir up crap but can never post proof. Simple link to a news story is easy enough to provide. Maybe this happened , maybe it didn’t. But I’m not believing some post on an anonymous message board.

Probably some deranged parent whose 08 kid tried out for every rep team and got cut all the way down to houseleague and is super bitter

Correct, and the person who started the post was the one stirring things up. They claimed there was an article, well guess what,,,there isnt.
