Because the coaching here in Oakville at certain age groups is equal in quality to a volunteer dad running a house league select team. Age groups like 08/09/11/12 have solid benches.......you fill n the blanks. The 3 Oakville kids on the Sens left because it was hands down the best thing to do for their development. Same as the dozen other boys who have left over the last few years.
Does Oakville provide release easily at U10? or you have to fake address and put your kid in private school ( which is a LOT of hassle)

They will give you a release, IF they dont want your kid. They WILL make you wait and attend tryouts (AND PAY FOR TRYOUTS), cut you and then you have to apply to the Club to give you a release whenever they get around to it. They dont make it easy.

They produced, because of the unlimited imports rule that was changed to suit them. That loophole is closed again, so lets see how he does when he goes back down to a younger age level and has to not stack a team with 10-12 imports.

The 08 team produced but wait until draft, the top picks will not be the imports but the Oakville Residents.

Agreed, right now it's the Oakville boys that are ranked higher than the imports. EB and CC. EH is a solid import and he will be drafted high as well.
OR will see 5 Forwards, 4 D drafted.

Just checked, 19-4-6 record and sit in 3rd place, how does that equate to a "terrible team"?
