What type of people are running the ORHC? They have a 50/50 raffle going on throughout the year and claim it’s to offset registration costs? How many employees with ORHC make 100k/Year? They are a non profit org but had a million dollar plus surplus 3 years ago, so where is the money? Usually they would be presented at the AGM, which hasn’t happens for 3 years now, not even virtually.

AAA teams should be set, if they aren’t then the team has issues. Several Oakville AAA coaches won’t even be in the country during tryouts…

Exactly why the organization can’t compete with any real top teams in the province in any age group. Jokeville Forever.

They'll spend just enough time on the board to eff it up for the next set of parents / players coming through. Most familiar in minor hockey associations. Hard pressed to find a good one to be honest. Minor hockey is run by rogue cowboys who are there for ALL the wrong reasons, there's no bylaws in hockey to say otherwise and there certainly isn't any accountability.

Season is over for 90% of the teams, a month to tryouts. And still not all coaches named, what a joke.

So many epic failures in the playdowns across all age groups

And they bring back the majority of the A Red Coaches, who didnt even make it out of the playdown rounds. Failure when the Red team cant make it out of the playdowns, 08ARed especially.

That doesn’t even begin to describe the guy.

It’s why this team will never progress past the playdown rounds, other teams developed over the course of the season and leave them in the dust the last 2 seasons. His practices are a gong show and so disorganized with no structure. Choosing his friends over better players doesn’t help them any, and his kid isn’t even in the to 12 D at the A level.
