For the third tournament this season the Halton coach decided to rotate goalies and again play his back- up in the do or die game and have his team exit early. He could have pulled him each time but alas he did not. Also THIS time he did not recommend the deserving opposing goalie for MVP!

What impact did that have on the QF game?

As someone who played up to a very high level, I can tell you that if this story is true, it’s why TM lost. Other forwards were likely completely checked out.
