THERE SHOULD BE A GRANDFATHER CLAUSE!!!!!!!!
Having a grandfather clause for the players in the NRP Program that are thriving is the right thing to do!
As a parent I chose to support my child and what's best for them on and off the ice.
There is NO reason why OMHA can not have a grandfather clause to the NRP program they created and allow players in that program continue to participate as a NRP!
They have to earn one of 3 spots available, let them do that, let them work hard for that. Give them the opportunity to keep their team and community they love and have been apart of for years!
I know this hockey mom! And she is certifiably crazy, I mean crazy!!! Elevator is broken and doesn't even go half way let alone the top! Stay away from this toxic Not Allowed!!!! She's a hater but can't let go of anything, think's she's always right and has a negative opinion on everything. She shit talks her home centre yet goes and watches every game they play on, will travel just to stir the pot and mock players and parents. Her kid isn't even on the fkn team. What a fkn loser! Get a life.

Is there any truth to the rumor that Southern Tier and Niagara North are amalgamating next year at the AAA level?
No
The east will loose central Ontario wolves
And Oshawa and another team will merge to make it 10 and 10

Wow I agree with the Whining. There definitely is an issue with boundaries and allowing players to play the level of hockey they are skilled at. The NRP system is a joke and so is OMHA. OHF should make better choices.
NRP System-1 Year option, if your kid was playing A now the home centre is an A. Enjoy or move, nothing about its not fair that we like the other team.

To anyone complaining, the OMHA is a ridiculously bad league. Terrible! One step above the Alliance which shouldn’t even qualify as hockey.
Realignment may help your league get stronger and you desperately need that. Embrace it.
Projected top 7 for OHL draft:
Schaefer(OMHA)
Martin(Alliance)
Roobroeck(Alliance)
Hopkins(OMHA)
Griffin(OMHA)
Beauchesne(HEO)
Nesbitt(Alliance)
Weird, I dont see a list of GTHL kids
Well it’s convenient that you aren’t including Misa or Moore as this is a list of 07s and they would both be at or near the top. It is great to see the different leagues represented but I think a lot of these guys benefit from little fish in big pond syndrome. Most of these guys struggled at the OHL cup against top talent.
No way Misa is in the top ten for the OHL draft this year. His GTHL production really fell off this year /s
This draft was an exception but these guys are also struggling. Misa is also not the top player on Saginaw. I would say it’s Parekh.
OMHA does need to get rid of some of the centers. Honestly, the AAA level needs to be more competitive. I would say the same for GTHL. 1/3 of the GTHL AAA teams cannot compete. They should remain at AA.
