Yawn
Kemptville is the worst coached team on the planet lol
And what about worst run? How about the two GMs, one who tried to create a new league, and the other who promised kids another league and both ended up pulling their junior B teams. After Christmas neither team could dress a full lineup in the CCHL and went often with 3 lines and 6 d sometimes 4 D. Both teams had ridiculous turnover of players since September 1 and one owner still owes a bunch of kids refunds. Of course, the CCHL does nothing to deal with these snake oil salesmen.

PLK is a mess. Its crazy to me that PLK and BB started with 25 players each and can't dress full lineups. It makes the whole league look bad
PLK had 5-6 D's that left the team from September 1 on. They weren't cut or released but, saw the writing on the wall and left. Revolving door at goalie because assistant coach brought in his "client' from the States. That only scratches the surface. BB tried to move kids into their "new venture". Once out of HC, they couldn't come back. It kills the reputation of the league. The commits list is floundering every year.

Guys in the top 5 in the league are committed to D3… what happened to the credibility?
It is more of a D3 recruited league that. Even at that, it is getting killed south of the border. I saw a recent ranking of Top 20 Tier 2 teams. Not one CCHL team is listed. Not one. Never saw that before. It is an old boys club league that protects each other. Kids not lining up to play there.

It was on the junior hockey news site. Obviously, biased but, still interesting. The point being that the CCHl had a lot of "issues" because of poor ownership/coaches combined with competition. With a USPHL Premier coming to Canada, it is only going to get worse for the CCHL

It is rare to make USport from the CCHL. D3 is a good option but expensive if you don't have grades. There are no athletic scholarships and financial aid for Canadians is rare. You need merit scholarships. Also, some D3 teams will have 80 kids trying out so a commitment means something, but, no guarantee of anything.

D3 is a massive expense for unknown quality of school. The hockey is meh at best. If you have more money than brains sure! Lol
