The point of commiting is that there is no decommiting. Another kid lost a spot because you commited.
But it’s ok for coaches to cut kids last minute.
No coach does that if they've commited.
No, they do, happened many times.
Any suggestions on the best way to decommit? We found ourselves in a situation and considering going to another team, much closer to home, no 407 necessary and cheaper $3k less. Nervous to get him and us a bad reputation. Is it something that happens often? Money is tight and that $3k is needed for the household expenses
Gotta do what’s best for your family. If a coach can’t accept that then he doesn’t give a damn about you as a person. Also any kid on any team can be shown the door. Do what you need to do.

1. Just do the better option for your family
2. You are not the one of the team and coaches
3. Today is not late to commit or leave

Just do it early, show your situation, your choice is make sense enough!

If that’s May - August, yes, someone hunted maybe, but today nobody, any coach has a wait list there.

Guest wrote: Thu Mar 14, 2024 8:47 pm From now on I don’t want to hear anything about VK please. Let the coaches and parents live and love. Can we talk about another team like the sensational or DMF or Nats or titans or even Rebels. Like there is more to life than VK or Marlies. I forgot JRC but their best player and second best player is leaving them.
DMF - Better or worse next year?
Nats - Better or worse next year?
TT - Bettet or worse next year?
MR - better or worse next year?
+Sensational - better or worse next year?
DMF - Worse
Nats - Better
TT - Better
MR - Worse
MS - Same
Who did DMF and MR lose to get worse?
How did the Nats and TT get better?

Obviously not names, just positions.

Sounds like it’s either DMF from the east or Nats from the west.

I would 100 percent do what’s best for my family and if money is an issue I would just do OMHA.

Fact: 1 left and 3 were cuts. Don’t twist it around. Truth matters.
