Recruiting not going to plan. The brass not so thrilled.Guest wrote: ↑Sun Mar 17, 2024 7:08 pmNo way
Re: ETA 2009
One minor factor to consider, next season will not have open borders. Releases will not be given out so freely for the U-16 year, especially with the recording circulating from a parent meeting, of a certain someone stating that imports are a non-issue and there are always ways to bend the rules.
BOOM!

Everyone does it. How many kids from APR play on APR? Maybe Whitby should of done something to stop the mass exodus to APR for this age group a couple of years ago. WW board knew what was happening and did nothing. Now they attempt to do the same thing and got caught with their hand in the cookie jar.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Mar 18, 2024 9:48 am

A little different. Those players left through open borders and are good players. Import names rumoured to be going to Whitby to take spots from local players are laughable. Bottom CT players, bottom COW players, bottom OG players, bottom MM players. New coach is moving deck chairs on the Titanic.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Mar 18, 2024 12:56 pmEveryone does it. Re: ETA 2009
Skill of players shouldn't matter for this discussion, although weaker players taking spots from local kids is not a good thing. But you are correct, it was open borders at that time.
Re: ETA 2009
What is happening out east next year? Any changes in KJG, QRD and PP organizations? Heard some KJG kids are moving to City?
