Ottawa U18 2022/23 Season
Re: Ottawa U18 2022/23 Season
Will any CCHL teams move to USPHL next fall? If CCHL teams move to USPHL who are the most likely to go?

So what's your excuse for your son not making it?Guest wrote: ↑Sun Mar 17, 2024 4:31 pmWell it’s official… Kemptville coaches are terribleGuest wrote: ↑Sun Mar 17, 2024 10:42 amGuest wrote: ↑Fri Mar 15, 2024 12:22 pmGuest wrote: ↑Tue Mar 12, 2024 12:17 pm
It was on the junior hockey news site. Obviously, biased but, still interesting. The point being that the CCHl had a lot of "issues" because of poor ownership/coaches combined with competition. With a USPHL Premier coming to Canada, it is only going to get worse for the CCHL
The JHN is run by and NCDC guy. You actually took anything they wrote to be objective?!?!?
USPHL coming to Canada!?
You went down the conspiracy rabbit hole champ
My son ays in the CCHL, Kemptville is terrible, so are a few other teams, so what??!? Every league, read that again, Every league has teams at the bottom. Those teams, again, in EVERY league, can be criticized for not being up to par. What's your point?
All I see in people like you, is anger and Jealousy. Please, do point out a JrA league in Canada, that is still in HC, that is thei ing and meets your "utopian " standard. The successful teams/league, have left HC and their archaic and apathetic means of management, to he independent. YES the BCHL and teams who left the AJHL are better than the CCHL.
Cry me a river baby. My son is having a blast in the CC, if it leads to more opportunities great, if not, he did his best, competed st the elite level, did all the life lessons thing, has a ton of memories and made some lasting friendships. These positives aren't good enough for you, the dad if a kid who wasn't good enough to make it.
Sure

You are missing the point big fella. If you actually look at Kemptville’s team and roster they should and could be in the top half of the league quite easy. They come into to the season flying and then the “coaches” take control and the downward spiral begins. My son is having a good season in a US league but had tho move 450 kms away from home because of this.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Mar 20, 2024 7:15 pmGuest wrote: ↑Tue Mar 19, 2024 2:44 pmDelusional man doesn't realize there are many posters. Yes teams will be goingGuest wrote: ↑Wed Mar 20, 2024 2:06 pm Will any CCHL teams move to USPHL next fall? If CCHL teams move to USPHL who are the most likely to go?
Re: Ottawa U18 2022/23 Season
CCHL will be done as we know it. Not all the teams want to go. Its about money. USPHL Premier kids pay $10K+ US to play. Double team fees in CCHL. If they pull out of HC, there is no limit as to how many US kids they can have. Problem is billeting and find ing homes for the flux of kids.
Re: Ottawa U18 2022/23 Season
Not this year 4 teams do not want to leave yet and they want to go as a group.
Next year maybe as a group they will go

Re: Ottawa U18 2022/23 Season
Doesn't matter about the 4 teams that don't want to go. The snake oil owners need the money and will take their teams out. They don't have to be unanimous. You think the bottom feeder cares about the top club when they are desperate for cash. Look at the commits list for the CCHL, it is not growing year over year. Top players with good academic standing are not going.Guest wrote: ↑Thu Mar 21, 2024 5:21 pm Not this year 4 teams do not want to leave yet and they want to go as a group.

Looks better to go as a league like BCHL
Soon no leagues will fall under Hockey Canada at this rate

Hey Chief, they could be in the top half of the league quite easy!?!? Lay off the weed.Guest wrote: ↑Thu Mar 21, 2024 9:33 amYou are missing the point big fella. Good luck with your prognostications champ! Perhaps the CCHL goes "independent" just like the BCHL and top AJHL teams. It'll make the talent pool bigger and therefore higher caliber. You can't deny that.Guest wrote: ↑Thu Mar 21, 2024 5:00 pmCCHL will be done as we know it. Not all the teams want to go. Its about money. USPHL Premier kids pay $10K+ US to play.
