The Nats/Outlaws were good. But some of the other teams that were just a group of kids signing up to play a one day tournament didn't even have tier 1 players on them, and had to play out of position due to the random kids that signed up. Probably not a fair comparison.
Were all the teams like that? Which teams were bad? Any notable players? (No names)
Most teams other than the Nats were compromised of either friends thrown together or current winter teams. Any 2024/25 AAA team entering the tournament had a clear advantage. They simply didn’t have as many AA or A calibre players as the other teams.

Every team had some good quality players.
I’m wondering if most of the elite players were at the Everest tournament?

Yes Everest had the JRC and Marlies cores participate. Nats should’ve been in that tournament as well.

You don’t know what you’re taking about. At the top level the hockey is more competitive than winter hockey. The best against the best, no rules. Go eff yourself if you think that’s not true

Whatever strokes your ego.
A couple teams like the Raiders do well because they’ve played together and been coached all season. Most of these tournaments are sloppy hockey. Yes. Some might have better players but most of it is just terrible selfish play. If once you’ve had children go through all this you realize that these games and spring is nothing other than fun. Elite hockey doesn’t start until u14 or higher.

Holy bro, hands too tight on the wheel. They are 8 hanging out with friends eating cookies and pizza between periods. Let them be kids.

These are young kids. Still learning the game. Elite will not happen until teenagers.

not sure what's being said here the outlaws isn't the Nats, this is also a team for spring that was thrown together with a bunch of friends. they did not skate together all year. outlaws entered this tournament at the highest level so if you think it wasn't fair why didn't you drop your teams down to the appropriate skill level?

Nobody said anything about fair, what was said is that based on the quality of the players the Outlaws rostered they had an advantage. The core of the outlaws is the Nats unless things have changed.
