Curiosity got the better of me, not a parent of either team but wanted to see the situation. Would not say the kid ran the goalie, based on the angle it looks like a poke-check gone wrong. Tough angle to catch the exact contact point but it's a hockey play intended to score with no ill intent. Not a great look for the TE parents to be honest with all the yelling, and while you can't see the FH coach it's embarrassing he had the clock run out instead of resuming play.
rigggghhhtttt ... and the refs didn't ask the scorekeeper to stop the clock while they figured things out ... and the FH bench weren't asking the refs why they weren't stopping the clock while they figured things out.

Re: 2010 GTHL A East
Actually, that did happen and it can be heard on Livebarn. Maybe time for everyone to settle down. The player may or may not have deserved a penalty and that’s where this should have ended. Neither coach should have used profanities but both were trying to advocate for their players. Wrong actions but came from a good place. Also, lots of hate toward a 14 year old trying to make a hockey play. Apparently an Eagles player was suspended indefinitely for using profanities and other choice words to a ref. No negativity being laid there. How about we leave everyone alone and go back to talking about hockey and not people. It’s just a game but a game that we love and should not be tainted by garbage talk. These are all people with feelings and families.Guest wrote: ↑Fri Apr 12, 2024 11:03 amZero, because that never happenedGuest wrote: ↑Fri Apr 12, 2024 10:50 amHow about how many games the eagles coach got for yelling and swearing at a 14 year old??Guest wrote: ↑Fri Apr 12, 2024 9:54 amMaybe you can tell us how many games the coach got for him profanity laced tirade?Guest wrote: ↑Fri Apr 12, 2024 9:23 amI would know cause I was on the bench. Way too much whining going on here, heat of the moment things happened. But great point about the TE player getting suspended, no one talking about that. Was it a trip or a dive, who knows...watch the replay, but you see the FH kid pointing right away that the TE's player and then telling the ref "he said a bad word". Now that's a weak move, like seriously.

The TE kid said to the ref “that’s a p*ssy call”. 7-8 game suspension when someone says that wordGuest wrote: ↑Fri Apr 12, 2024 12:55 pm Way too much whining going on here, heat of the moment things happened. Sure ... the kids wanted to play ... but the FH assistant coach lost his s$%^ on the ref and was thrown out of the game and refused to leave ... so the refs simply let the clock run.Guest wrote: ↑Fri Apr 12, 2024 9:23 amI would know cause I was on the bench.
