I’m not sure your point? Belittling kid’s accomplishments does not take away from the fact specific board members abuse power to the advantage of their kid (CL, CD, CR).

If you were on the board you would have to abuse your power - they dont have to.

In fairness out of this group one of the kids does belong CL. However It’s known he abuses his privilege in other ways.
Hopefully new people volunteer for the board and have an impact on the organization. There needs to be new leadership to clean up the image of what used to be a really well respected organization

EMC board has done a great job this season. They lost a great leader and all of them have given thankless time and effort to making it run. One of the most successful organizations in all of Ontario.

EMC Coaches are outstanding! All of them, again have given thankless amount of time and effort into practices and games all year! U10 & U11 & U12 ALL have chances to win Alliance this weekend. U13 already won the Alliance. U15 made it to semi finals and U16 made it to the finals. This is on the backs of great coaches.

Every year around this time, is when the trolls come out and start blaming others for why their son won't make an EMC team at upcoming tryouts. Rinse & Repeat every year.

Especially that you spent six hours today on MHT whining and crying about volunteers. No wonder why there aren't any left. I would guess JW did not take the job bc he needs to build his reputation, increase his bank account or prove anything to anyone. He sifted through a bunch of names and selected some and dropped the rest. Was he pushed or influenced...no idea...but often times the people who Not Allowed and moan all day often, in fact very often, do nothing bc they do not have the experience, skills or mental capacity to withstand all that comes with coaching other peoples "precious cargo"

This is a public organization and this is about transparency. The board abuses their power to the advantage of their kid (CL, CD, CR). This includes making sure their kid makes a team, pushing for specific coaches who benefit their kid, ice time, and so the list goes on. Obviously the board thinks they’re sneaking around making moves, and no one is noticing. Everyone is noticing.

Her player was cut from U18 and she left. Another board member kid was cut from U11 and she also also left.

Board members kids get cut all the time - they have no secret conspiracy theory powers - they get screwed with by coaches just like everyone else.

CR’s kid gets sized up and exposed every tryout season and still makes the team. Will happen again this year just watch. Pathetic.
