Who will be the power houses next year?
TR grabbed top players from all other teams
Parent from different team here - but I have to agree - not sure TR can be knocked off? Goaltending alone has them ahead of others. If true that they’re adding other teams’ top players, will be tough - but that’s hockey and life, can’t lay down, can only try to get better.
Let’s see how all these “top players” gel. Not enough ice and puck to go around on AA super teams.
Right now the TR coach is hoping like he’ll the bruins knock them off. Cut as many as they did and win then bring in a bunch of kids that got tons of ice time on there current teams and not make it. Every single loss this board will go crazy. They enter a tournament and don’t win parents will want the coach fired. His kid plays more than little Johnny the parents will go
Insane. They are trying to build a team to knock of the west which until u14 it won’t be done. Hitting can equal things up a bit. Goaltending is still their #1 strength, but not sure when goalie dad would stay there? Two winning seasons and if their plan goes well the goalies should see way less shots next year. Seems like a waste of a year of development to get a trophy you already have 2 of. He wasn’t getting even the slightest look. At AAA. So he should go somewhere where he gets some action. Mid pack like FH, LF or SIR. If TRT can keep everyone happy and players buy in. They should be a pretty fun team to watch.
Just my 2 cents.

A lot of teams making changes so will be a good year to see where everybody lands. Some teams will train in the summer. Some don’t. Some kids will grow - some won’t. It will be another fun and competitive season!

Solid win by SYB today. TR coaches were butt hurt and got themselves a bench minor over an 11yo goal celly.

SYB kids sound like they have a knack for pissing opposing coaches off. First Leaside, now TR.

Unclassy parent/kid combo. Not too surprising !

Or there are a few soft as charmin coaches who handle losing worse than the kids do.

Kid scored, and celly’d on the way to his bench. TR coaches are losers who can’t handle being the top team and losing in the playoffs every year. Next year will be no different.
