YSE 10
JRC 10

More picks out of the OMHA then the G this year!!! congrats to all the boys that got picked!! keep up the hard work!
Two years in a row now that the OMHA out drafts the G and also has the 1st overall pick.
And a handful of the top G kids drafted are former OMHA kids as always. There was a time that I thought having your kid playing in the G vs a bad league like the SCTA was worth it but I don’t get it anymore. BW66 is a Guelph kid. Seeing EB61 go 1st overall you’re telling me BW couldn’t have still gone 4th overall playing on his hometown team?
This would have continued if open borders was still allowed in the OMHA. But now that they have locked it back up again, G will regain its dominance. There was a case being made for kids to stay the last few years. eg. PP makes
It to OHL cup semis two years in a row. Barrie, Oakville had strong runs this year. Last year YSE and Halton and a few others were very strong. Only as an example, you’ll never see PP back at this level now that they don’t have open. Barrie and YSE on ETA side and Halton, Oakville on the SCTA side should be able to maintain, but anyone else will be left in the dust. IMO.
Mostly agree with this point except Oakville? Oakville is terrible a lot of age groups. The other centres are usually strong though.

Kind of a mute point seeing as how 15 of the Barrie 08's all got drafted.
Are you sure it’s “mute”
Maybe English isn’t your first language
It pronounced “moot”
How many of those Barrie kids actually are from Barrie lmao what a joke the Omha is

7 actually. The one goalie listed from Barrie came to the team last year, and was not in Barrie before that.

What does that say. You’re better to get cut in PP and go somewhere else. You have a better chance of getting drafted…..lmao.

Well BB and RC “moved” - the other 3 (TH, CB and NB) were cut.
