there is only a handful (if that) of NYHL teams still around in the u7-u9 ages, so by default most teams around will be build from KSL teams

Guest wrote: Thu Apr 11, 2024 2:07 pm We are getting an offer from a T1 team and we are thinking of leaving our Center to play U9. One thing I don’t like is not having games every weekend. Does the klevr league setup exhibition games, so you get practice outside of the klevr tournaments?
Yes, but these are setup by the coaches so better to ask in advance.
Some coaches will not bother with Exhibitions or maybe just the team we were on. Ensure it’s on the contract.
It is the coaches that set it up. They promise this, but as the rest of the year continues, at around the midyear point, the coaches move on to the next year and essentially leave the rest of the team behind.
Does anyone know anything about the Lambton Middlesex Lightening Team?

NYHl has lost entire teams and many individual players.

A far cry from page 1 where the super league was “ folding “

It never was, it was just a bunch of insecure people upset that they were on the outside looking in.
KSL aint perfect, but its what the market wanted, and now they are getting it. There is good and bad with it. But, clearly, with year two mass expansion - more people wanted in than out.

What does it look like over the next 3-5 years? That is the real question.

Who creates the league that goes U10 - U12? allow hitting, Maybe keep it to 10 teams. Tournament style.

The strength of the KSL is that it appeals to the interests of those outside the GTA and in. People like the league for different reasons. Once you get to U10 its a pretty hard sell for those in the G that they will get better hockey elsewhere at the top levels. I just dont see people taking it up the same way they are currently for U9 and below.

As soon as HC wake up and allow full ice games again at U9 and below...
