Guest wrote: Sat Apr 20, 2024 12:24 am JRC is good because they have good players. They don’t play good cohesive hockey. Hence why you have so many kids leaving and so many kids that won’t even be happy when they leave the rink as OHF champs. There is something about developing a group from a young age and not always bringing in the best of the best year after year. The teams that keep a great core and bring in small pieces here and there will be the best teams at U16. Massive exodus at JRC next year and it starts with the leader and coach. Its easy to win when you get the best players coming in every season. It’s not easy at U16 when you have that model. This will be their year and it will be their last year because the teams that build and develop will surpass them very soon. Also the program is starting to get a bad reputation so players may want to go elsewhere.
Terrible culture. Can’t wait for season to end to get out of here
How many kids are leaving jrc on their own and how many are cuts?
Jrc Terrible culture? Please elaborate?
Where is it better and how is it better?

Every team and organization has its influences, just look around!
There’s a multitude of kids playing with forged papers, separations, out of boundary, payoffs, nepotism, buddies, sponsors and bought spots etc etc
What team or organization is closest to perfect? knowing perfect doesn’t exist.
All cuts! No one voluntarily leaves JRC lmao. Those people who say they leave willing are just delusional. JRC is the PLACE TO BE!!!!!

The best are the parents who just paid to get in that will be booted next year for the next high payer. Sorry bud your kid is just not talented enough to get on the team organically

JRC has the working formula, everyone else is a distant 2nd. EMC thinks they do, but don’t have the talent past a one player. EMC has a lot of players that aren’t and won’t be happy come U16.
First rodeo of you dumbo's. Talent identification is not spotting the kid with the beard and is fully grown. You will learn a lot in the next few years!

I agree EMC, ur one superstars early maturation and PEDs (just ask mom) shouldn’t be mixed up with talent.

The only thing you will learn again EMC is genetics will get in your way to play with best in a few years. Tall or small, no matter how much you practice you will fall short if you think you can teach elite IQ under pressure, reaction time to adjust quickly and superior athleticism. Do all your early identification of talent, but the writing is on the wall and you know it already.

No one expected a win against JRC - A loss is a loss.
Let's see what you have against the rest of the teams.
It's a competitive field and will show what VK is made of. If history repeats, than VK will have to rethink the makeup of the team - maybe a few changes will be needed to help close out games and series victories.
yeah they just need some fake 2011s and they'll do better
Start with getting better 2011’s. The 2012 was the best player on the ice for VK last night.
The 2012 barely saw the ice and was terrible when he did. Nice try dad
Check the stats pal
I did he had 4 shifts
Stop typing to yourself on here, everybody saw it and he doesn’t pack the gear to play at this level.
There's 2 underagers playing and both are definitely playing. Get your head outta your ass. The 2012 forward is 2nd in team scoring and the D is playing a regular shift. What are you even watching

Re: 4 shifts... Jesus how bad is your kid that you're paying such close attention to the allegedly irrelevant 2012s anyway?

The dad is a beauty.
The kid is pretty chill and keeps to himself.
Nothing wrong with being mediocre at u13-15
Be Elite when it counts.

If you look at the top 3-5 players in the age group as of right now, none of them will be top players by u16. They are top players now because of early maturation, not hockey IQ. In some past age groups, you might see a special player all the way through. This is not the norm. The 2011’s don’t have a ‘special player’, atleast in the G. The top players in u16 will be the players who have been taught to play hockey properly and have strong IQ for the game. By U16, size, skating and skill are just a ticket to the dance.
