2015 AAA
Re: 2015 AAA
OMHA is dissolving teams to keep things more competitive but if it is a friends and family event like some have stated what’s the point.
Re: 2015 AAA
OMHA doesn't seem like its like that nearly as much as the G.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Apr 22, 2024 4:05 pm OMHA is dissolving teams to keep things more competitive but if it is a friends and family event like some have stated what’s the point.
Also, I think dissolving teams in the KEY Klevr areas, Durham, north of Durham and the central ontario area. Was a deliberate attack to take spots away from those kids. Otherwise, it makes ZERO sense.
Re: 2015 AAA
It's simple logic , 2014 is such a shit age group that the 2015s is the talk of the town.
It's ok guys it happens you can blame COVID a few more years until 75% of the 2014 loop is dominated by underagers.

Re: 2015 AAA
Durham had area had way too many teams. Not sure if it was deliberate to take away opportunities. The problem we keep hearing with OMHA is that coaches will pick kids from friends over talent.
Re: 2015 AAA
They pick friends when talent is close. If it is super clear they won’t mess around. They call it culture, you can you can call it the devil you know. All the more reason borders are stupid.
Re: 2015 AAA
All coaches do it. IF you know a kid and their parent and they are a good kid and parent. You are going to take that kid every single time when the talent is close.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Apr 23, 2024 8:14 am They pick friends when talent is close. If it is super clear they won’t mess around. It is what it is. Any coach that says otherwise, is a liar. Its human nature. Coaches don't want to deal with kids or parents who are Asshats unless they bring a high level of talent.

Kid and parents that are asshats make for a painful season. Life is too short for that.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Apr 23, 2024 8:16 amAll coaches do it.
