As the season comes to an end and the College commitment list slowly gets filled. One thing which is occuring that bears note. Overall, commitments to D1 and D3 levels will look very low compared to prior years. The reason is this is the last "bonus" year for the covid-college age group. This will greatly impacted the 2003 age group of players. The expectation is that there will be a high demand for 2004 players which is why some leagues are removing age out quotas.

What's to explain. USHPL Premier is already planned for 6 Canadian teams. Makes sense for the NCDC to come in. My guess...6 CCHL franchises will join. What happens to the leftovers of the CCHL, who knows?
the USPHL NCDC division is below the CCHL in caliber. The Premier division is below Jr. B here. Your misinformation is hilarious at best, naive and ignorant also apply.

You'd have a better story if you actually tried to say it would be NCDC north.
What will you say when the CCHL clubs join NCDC? That NCDC is inferior? Junior B is well below Premier.
Only BB and CC leaving from CCHL
Pembroke will be gone. So will others. Navan too. The NCDC consultant is Abrams...is it not??? Haha!
Hoping Cornwall, Brockville, Pembroke leave the CCHL. The league will be better without them. Navan can go to IMO.
Hearing big changes coming in Renfrew with GM/Coach being relieved of his duties. Not sure if true but that word out there.

What do people feel about the CCHL's expansion of 20 year olds last year from 6 to 8.

I honestly don't know who sticks around in Jr. A hockey this long, without getting a sniff of something more.

The ones playing there age out year without a commitment are "hoping" for a D3. Most age outs, age out with nothing. If an age out has money, they can afford a D3 bill. IF a kid really wants to play college hockey, they should look into ACHA. But, that means being realistic about goals. THe top ACHA are better than half of D3 anyways, depending on the program. To try to land a d1 in your age out year, is a longshot.
