Sure you can!! In fact this team is gonna be so good they likely don’t even need one!

Easy JB!!
Let’s get hooked on phonics first!
Perhaps then you can learn about leadership in coaching…

Unless they plan on wrestling their way to a U14 AAA Alliance Championship!!
LJK Parents must be upset that despite spending Thousands of dollars on their kid doing 'extra' ice focused on boring and mindless skating around pylons 12 months a year there are 6 kids who benefited from better athletic genetics who played Jr Mustangs in the past now on this AAA team.

That's more than the kids who were named to LJK AA in Atom - guess playing on 'elite AA' teams isn't the be all end all....

Size and Physicality matter, never seen skating judges or pylons on the ice at an actual hockey game. Perfect strides and edges are nice but a big strong kid with a high motor and hands will still win a puck race and a hard battle.

Perhaps playing down a level with more time/space does indeed add confidence and highly athletic kids will all get their chance intime with added development.

The season hasn’t even begun so settle down. These bigger players are slow and lacking AAA skill and untested against real competition. Wait and see how they’re doing when they start playing actual AAA kids. Bigger now because those kids hit puberty early. What will you be saying when the kids with the skill grow and are equal from a physical perspective??

The coach of this team is terrible so there’s also that to consider. His own kid skates like he’s riding a horse. Politics as usual because a non parent coach would cut that kid in a heartbeat.

The 6 that are so genetically gifted will find out quickly that their hockey IQ will be their demise. The big new D with a big shot had very few impactful moments at end of year in AA...good luck in AAA with that IQ. They'll be able to book that long awaited family holiday next April as they won't be attending the OHL Cup!

Yeah sorry but that big new d is unintelligent. The game moves so much faster in AAA. Wait and see the mistakes because they will be plenty and ongoing throughout the season. The two big forwards are equally bad. They skate so slow and have no impact. The coach chose them not because they are AAA level but because they are big. That's all that coach cares about. It will be a massive mistake wait and see. 3rd in Alliance last season. Likely 5 or 6 next.

Hockey parents are disgusting. Way to trash kids.

JB can be a good coach. Think he’s lost his way a bit over the years with pressure of his kids being the top and doing what he can to get them there.

Putting down 12/13 year olds - does that make you feel better at night when you sleep or justify your kid getting cut?

Find a new hobby. Tryouts are done, suck it up, pay more in development so your kid can be there next year.

Absolutely true. Still some good ones out there but majority are horrid.
