Exhibition game?? Had the full squad played in a tournament this weekend! No one else around here is taking this stuff seriously enough, going to be a long summer   :lol:Guest wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2024 2:01 pmFew things, projected by who? It's an exhibition game BEFORE tryouts. Wouldn't put any stock into the result. None at all.
Single A coaches holding an exhibition game prior to tryouts at U15. Jesus Christ, relax a bit. Let the players and families have a break. This isn't good for anyone and won't matter at all come next season. Thankfully not part of either of these teams.

What's the problem with playing in spring hockey / tournaments? I believe more than half of the teams play at least 1 during the spring. WM, NT, Markham and Ted Reeve all took part this weekend.
Re: 2010 A West
Nothing. Personally I wouldn't, I think players need a break. I think spring/summer is for individual training. Side note, ever notice the top teams usually don't have spring/summer teams?Guest wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2024 3:54 pmGuest wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2024 3:19 pmExhibition game?? Re: 2010 A West
Is there an A stud looking to jump up to AA at the last moment. Our team has room for one. Would need to be very strong at A level to be considered. Would be for a playoff team in the West.Guest wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2024 4:15 pmNothing. Personally I wouldn't, I think players need a break. I think spring/summer is for individual training. Re: 2010 A West
How's tryouts going? What happened to the Attack? Heard everyone left, didn't believe it but it's true not a single player is returning. Crazy. Other big changes?
Re: 2010 A West
Everyone didn't leave the Attack ... there were a number of players moving up to AA (including the coach's son) and there were probably 6 or 7 players that would have most likely returned to the squad ... the coach had offered to return to the bench eventhough his son was moving up but the George Bell organization (who administers the team) thought it a better fit to simply move their Mississauga A coach over and he has decided to bring his whole team with him. So it's somewhat of a complete rebuild ...Guest wrote: ↑Wed May 08, 2024 11:41 am How's tryouts going? What happened to the Attack? Rangers, Panthers and Lightning all essentially rebuilding. Sharks have lost a number of players as per a previous post in this thread so who knows where they will end up
Avs (by default) look to be a in good position to move up the standings simply because they aren't going through a complete rebuild
and of course Eagles will dominate ... they actually cancelled their one and only tryout because there will be essentially zero changes to their team.
Re: 2010 A West
George Bell A team from MHL not too strong. Did entire team follow, or any of the stronger kids go elsewhere? GB from last season likely equal to Rangers.Guest wrote: ↑Thu May 09, 2024 8:48 amEveryone didn't leave the Attack ... there were a number of players moving up to AA (including the coach's son) and there were probably 6 or 7 players that would have most likely returned to the squad ... the coach had offered to return to the bench eventhough his son was moving up but the George Bell organization (who administers the team) thought it a better fit to simply move their Mississauga A coach over and he has decided to bring his whole team with him. From what I hear it's essentially the whole team with maybe one or two removals and adds.Guest wrote: ↑Thu May 09, 2024 10:00 amGeorge Bell A team from MHL not too strong. Eagles
Avs
Sharks
and then a toss up amongst Rangers, Attack, Lightning and Panthers.
