Re: Brick 2024
I just went to hockeydb and you're wrong on this. It does not show up. You're thinking elite prospects. And guarantee you if they're looking at your kid's stats on that site, they're paying a lot more attention to u16 scoring stats than brick stats. It's like graduating from grade 12 and thinking a university is going to look at your grade 4 county wide math test and be like oh yes this kid is getting in.
Re: Brick 2024
True. Brick doesn’t mean anything. Only thing that matters is how good the kid is during draft year.Guest wrote: ↑Wed May 29, 2024 3:55 pmI just went to hockeydb and you're wrong on this. That seems to be people's favorite thing to say about hockey - oh they all catch up to each other and it levels/evens out. No it doesn't.Guest wrote: ↑Wed May 29, 2024 7:47 pmGuest wrote: ↑Wed May 29, 2024 7:23 pmBrick = talented kids with more ice time then other talented kidsGuest wrote: ↑Wed May 29, 2024 6:00 pmTrue. Re: Brick 2024
It does not automatically even out but playing in the Brick at this age means nothing either. Many who played didnt end up being that good as they got older and many who didn’t play in the Brick still made it far. Of course some Brick kids ended up playing high level hockey as well. The point is that at the end of the day the Brick does not really matter. It only matters to certain parents egos. FACTS.
