St. Andrew’s College Actual Costs

Anybody have real intel on how much it costs to play hockey at St Andrews College. Website tuition for boarding students is about $70k but it also says there are lots of bursaries and scholarships available. Do any hockey players ever get a full free ride to attend this school? If not what would a realistic tuition be to attend.

Lazy stupid answer. So nobody gets any bursaries or scholarships? I’m sure most of the team gets some reduction in tuition. I’m just curious what it is on average.

A drop in the bucket. It’s a small fraction of the tuition costs, and there are all sorts of other costs that are not included for school trips, etc. Plan on spending big coin.

Who’s lazy? All costs are clearly listed on their site. Go look yourself. Day school - boarding. 40k-70k. But if you have to ask, you probably can’t afford it. If you have to ask if there are scholarships, your kid is not good enough. They would’ve approached you already.

Foff .. my kid is plenty good enough. He would put them over the op to beat the likes of St Mikes or UCC. Want to get 80% subsidized.

Lol. I hope your kid is in the Connor McDavid class. Otherwise, there’s no 80% subsidization. Maybe 25% if he’s really good.

Well he’s not in that class. If he were subsidize 80% I would bite the bullet and send him. Anything less than that and he goes for free in the OHL.
