MD kids played full ice for half a season last year and most played full ice competitively against KSL kids at tournies, etc. The reason they wont get opportunities is because teams are pretty much picked before tryouts. Not because 'JUST started playing full ice"

Re: 2016 MD OMHA
Have heard today that u9 Md teams are going to full ice for the full season next year. A local team announced it to their organization this morning. Curious what impact that will have on KSL if it’s true.
They are also moving tryouts to April which will help decision making prior to signing on with a KSL team. Interesting times ahead.

Interesting times is right… It looks like they want to try and get some cash back into the system.
Re: 2016 MD OMHA
They are also adding a u7 Md division which will really pull some kids away from klevr at $1200 vs $4-6k.

Love how it takes an external league to get omha to pull its head out of its arse and listen to its customers
Re: 2016 MD OMHA
Whitby Will have a Great AA Team always. Especially with YK making up WW AAA.
Re: 2016 MD OMHA
This is what OMHA needed to do.
U7 MD - Half Ice
U8 MD - Full Ice
U9 MD - Full Ice
Spring Tryouts.
They are close to nailing it. Now they just need to figure out borders.

For all parents who dont already know.... when a coach says bring your kid to tryouts we want to take a look, they want your money not your kid. If you hear, I have a spot for your kid, they want your kid on the team. Read between the lines
